I love the dirty channel and I use it with fuzz pedals to get lots of gain, the clean channel is nothing special. I like the headroom/bedroom switch on the back cuz this amp can get really loud.

This little guy rocks! Used at the low wattage setting with a 1x12, it’s a great practice amp; plug it in to a 4x12 at the higher wattage setting and it’s LOUD. The natural channel sound great and takes pedals pretty well. The dirty channel can still pretty clean or full on heavy high gain awesomeness.

Man, I love this amp. I can't quit playing through it. It's instant Mastodon,Down, high on fire, sabbath. Equally addictive is the natural/ clean channel, it takes pedals very well. My Friedman Be-od deluxe sounds great through it. Drives, fuzzes delays and reverb sound wonderful. The amp sounds good at any power setting, and can get extremely loud. I can't recommend this amp enough

Great orange growl along with good clean channel. Simple controls allow you to dial in a great tone quickly and spend your time playing and not turning dials. AMS payment plans and quick service are the best.

A perfect fit

I love this amp. The multiple wattage selection and headroom/bedroom selector give me the perfect amount of power for any situation. I'm replacing the micro dark with this. A little bigger than I expected, but still smaller than a traditional amp head. Not quite as much gain but plenty to get the job done. And you can't beat the multiple channels. The usual incredible orange sound that I've come to expect dirty or clean. Highly recommend adding the foot switch.

Bought this and a ppc212 because I was tired of lugging around a huge, heavy, half-stack (spoiler alert, the ppc212 is the heaviest cab on the planet so that sucks lol)
I was a little worried that 15 watts wasn't going to be loud enough to hear over my heavy hitting drummer but dude...this thing delivers! I don't even turn it up half way and it's more than loud enough. Run a boost throught the effects loop for solos and it cuts right through. The tone of the natural channel is a little lackluster but nothing an eq pedal in the loop can't fix
Plenty of gain but I use it more for classic rock/hard rock. Keep the gain at about 1 then boost it with an overdrive. Although you could definitely get doomy and heavy sounds if you put a big muff or something in front of it.

If you want something that can get you that classic rock/metal tone this is the amp for you. Very basic features but in a good way. If you're like me that wants something simple without a zillion knobs and can get great tone at bedroom levels this is the amp for you.I'm glad it doesn't come with a foot switch, normally the ones that come with the smaller lunchbox amps are garbage. Get the foot switch separately, it's built like a tank.

I play this through a Peavy 2-12 cab with an Eminence Swamp Thang and a Texas Heat. The dry tones on both the clean and dirty channel are amazing. Drive the dirty side with a TS9 or SD-1 and it just makes it even better.
The clean channel is a perfect pedal platform. I am currently using a BE-OD Deluxe, Empress Heavy, and an AmpTweaker Fat Metal Pro II and the tones they project through this clean channel is nothing short of amazing and the tones I paid for!
This is coming from a long-time Peavy amp user, mainly 6505+ and this Rocker 15 Terror is a breath of fresh air.
For the price you cannot go wrong. Do not let the small amount of wattage fool you, this baby gets loud!
Highly recommended!

This amp really sounds great. The clean channel has one volume dial because there is no need for an eq. Also, this may not be a dark terror, but this thing still has a really decent amount of gain on tap. Put a MXR 6 Band eq with it and youre golden

I actually owned this amp once before. I stupidly sold it. I have the combo version and I told myself I didn’t need both. BUT I DID. I bought it again and I’ll never get rid of it again. A piece of advice. Leave the 12at7 for the loop in, but change the 3 12ax7 tunes to 5751. All 3 of them. The clean channel will be crystal clean, even when cranked. Humbuckers and p90s will give a tiny crunch, but you’ll have to crank it. The dirty channel will give awesome breakup from about 6 on. When cranked, the distortion is smooth and balanced. This is my experience with the tube swap. Leave it stock and you’ll have gain for days, but it can be hard to tame. Bottom line, this is an awesome amp no matter how you slice it.

love the "bedroom" settings for home use, sounds great without blowing the windows out. Having and effects loop is also excellent. Can't beat this amp for all it does at this price!

I am really impressed with this amp. It’s my first Orange and I’m definitely impressed. The built in attenuation is nice and it sounds good at all levels. I’ll be purchasing another Orange amp for sure.

Got this for my son and paired with an Orange OB speaker. He absolutely loves it! He can play it loud or with the selector, he can tone it down to play in his bedroom. Highly recommend this head.

I own several orange amps the rockerverb being one of those several amps. This amp is pure gold sounds amazing gain channel has a lot of crunch in the clean channel is great too. More then enough power for any gig. Sounds awesome through a 4x12 or a 2x12 cabinet. The headroom bedroom switch makes it great for playing at home and still get that pure tone. Great amp.
