Product Rating Product Review I got this amp 1 year ago and waited to review. 12 months later and I haven't found anything that I dislike about this monster. Playing hard rock with it is a joy that words cannot describe. The gain channel has got to be the best in the business. It's warmth and growl are beautiful but allow the crisp highs to still shine. The clean channel isn't too shabby either. Playing blues with a tube screamer boosting the clean ever so slightly just causes the sound to be pretty close to perfect. I'm not a jazz or pop player so I can't say for sure how it would sound, but so far this beast hasn't sounded less than fantastic. The controls are pretty simple, so if you are a perfectionist like I am, get an EQ to help dial in that perfect sound.

This product is of the highest quality. It's just a heavy, solid, orange brick. I have been using this head daily for two months now and absolutely no issues. I'm sure it will last many more years. Your general opinion of this product. The quality of sound is amazing. It is so rich. The difference between this and my old Crate stack are so stark, it is like getting my first Gibson after growing up playing 200$ guitars. Hearing what you actually play is important for growing as a musician. Not sure this applies to amps haha It can do anything from crystal clear to crunchy blues. Muddy, stone-chiseled Stoner/Doom riffs, to blistering pinch harmonic-laden Thrash. Just two nobs and so many tones. Orange tolex is amazing. It isn't just rubber like some amps. It has like a woven mesh of fibers covered with rubber type substance. The iconic Orange color is cool too. I didn't really buy it for looks though haha Plugged it into a cab and jammed. I am sure this is meant for for guitars as well.

Better than expected

You can tell that there are nothing but high quality components in hear. You can feel the sturdiness of the jacks and switches. Very, very quiet for a high gain amp. Don't know for sure yet, she will be put through her paces with me. Orange offers an extended warranty for free if you sign up, must mean something. Your general opinion of this product. All the reviews and videos don't do this amp justice, I expected great things but I am blown away still. I tell ya, for orange being known for their gain, this thing has a beautiful clean channel, it blows away a fender. My current performance head is an Egnater Tourmaster 4100, Great amp, 28 knobs, 10 switches, takes a while to learn and is very touchy in different rooms. The TH100 has 6 knobs, 1 switch and I got all the tones I was looking for within seconds. My Les Paul Standard Plus with the dirty channel is ungodly, Custom strat with the clean brings tears to my eys. It's all there in those 6 knobs. Orange covering is so cool, Gonna get my 4x12 recovered with purple to match, or not! It's an amp so...but it is very responsive to attack and playing dynamics, again, has to be heard to be believed.

This thing is built like a tank, much like all Orange amps. I've only had it for one month, so I can't say. But after having owned other Orange amps I do not expect any problems. Your general opinion of this product. Let me start by saying that this amp far exceed my expectations. This amp just blew me away. I could not believe the quality of the tone. Its clean channel could not be any cleaner with crstalyne quality and clarity. On the dirty channel there is so much gain that you can go go from a beautiful crem-smooth Marshall british overdrive into the Messa Dual Rectifier world. I am not exagerating. The shape know is so incredibly respnsive that it will let you dial classic 60s rock to full out havy metal tones, and everthing in between. I thought that I would have to use my MXR 10 Band EQ, but the tone from the amp is so good that, after fiddling around with the EQ, I realized the amps shape knwo and tone is better. Also this thing is really loud, however you can drop it to 70, 50 or 35 watts which all give you a distinct tone, BUT all are pure ORANGE. See above. Excellent fish like all other Orange amps.

Only had it for a month now, no problems at all so far. Only had it for a month... Your general opinion of this product. I love it. With only 3 knobs per channel, it is the most versatile amp I've owned. (Mesa, Marshall, Blackstar, Crate) Playability is very motivating. Where dialing in my mesa has been a quest for finding A good sound, the Orange is more about simply remembering your shape knob setting for the particular sound that you are looking for. I.E. Page sound = Les Paul and shape around 12 o clock all the way to Rammstein = ESP and shape knob dimed then backed off just a touch to add some mids. This amp is unreal. Read above. It is a beautiful amp IMHO. N/a
