These were backordered for ever but finally got them . That’s are the only cymbals I will play now . Crisp highs and beautiful lows excellent sounds from all of them . I will be adding some other 2002 sizes to my kit . I highly recommend these for a lifetime of great sounds

Hi,
I’ve been using Paiste 2002 cymbals since 1984, and when I first heard the Paiste line, I had just purchased a set of heavyweight Zilldian hi-hats and then attempted to purchase a 22” Zilldian ride, but the ride sounded awful. I then tried out the 2002 line as most of my favorite drummers were using them at the time (Bonham, Bozzio, Collins, etc.)
But they simply cut through, frequency wise, and when recorded, they sound amazing.
I am very happy to see AMS offering this amazing cymbal collection, and if you decide to purchase them, you’ll be telling the world “that you have arrived” as a player and your Paiste 2002’s will help define your sound as a professional drummer.

I’ve been wanting a set of these for many, many years and they did not disappoint. I’ve been playing Sabians for the last 20 years and they’re great cymbals too, but, these just have a more musical tone and are much more responsive. The free 18” crash was an added bonus. I highly recommend these for your kit. It’ll change the way you play for the better.

I’ve been struggling to find the right cymbals for my playing. Particularly in the context of my band. A friend in another band let me run his set of 2002’s and I found them! Absolutely fell in love and ordered them the next day! These thing’s really do sound so big! While being simultaneously musical. Not harsh, or biting. But will cut through a live mix perfectly. I play in a loud, heavy band and I cannot recommend these enough. First time playing these, each of the other dudes in the band we’re looking back like, “those are amazing!” I also have nothing but praise for my experience with AMS! The multiple financing options made this move a no brainer for me! Being able to get some top level gear without spending every penny i currently have was massive! Free shipping, which got to me 2 days before I was expecting it? I will definitely be making my next purchase here! Highly impressed!!

These cymbals sound so good. Also, the design of the hi-hat ridges on the bottom hi-hat allow for air to flow and creates a really nice crisp sound. These are nice soft sounding cymbals. I love them.
