I actually still have the hats and crash in my rig with my 2002's, they sound good, not the cheap sound that you may get with less expensive cymbals.

I've owned Paiste 2002 cymbals and honestly if you didn't see pst7 stamped on these cymbals, you wouldn't know the difference. These cymbals sound incredible and for the price you can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

I have heard several drummers say these are the "Poor Man's 2002's". They are not wrong. This is my first set of Paiste cymbals, mainly because, let's be honest, they're expensive. These are not. And they sound fantastic. I'm very picky about that the bell of my ride cymbal should sound like. This one sits right where I like the tone.
If you're on the fence because of the cost of Paiste Cymbals, take my advice and give these a shot. Great volume without being over the top. Great sounds, Extremely shiny and very pretty. Affordable classic "Glassey" Paiste sound.

A COMPLETE set of superior quality cymbals for less than $500? YOU BET!
I am floored, astonished, flabbergasted, amazed, overcome, and blown away by these cymbals! I also kind of like them.
Complete disclosure: I am a beginning drummer. And by "beginning drummer" I mean that I have had my kit for about a month. It came with a set of Meinl HCSs which are (according to all reports) THE most entry-level cymbals that are out there.
Now, I have played bass for a number of years so I do know what good cymbals sound like, but as a drummer; playing them is another critter, altogether. The Meinls sounded like beginner cymbals and were not very musical.
These are so musical, I cannot stand it! Before buying them I only had a chance to hear them in sound clips online so I was a bit nervous about pulling the trigger.
As it turns out, there was NO need to worry. It is good to know that the reviews I had seen on YouTube, online music forums, and the review here were accurate. THESE THINGS ROCK!
At this price, it is worth upgrading from entry-level and I think I will be happy with their sound for as long as I am playing.
I have no hesitation recommending these Paistes to ANYONE regardless of skill level. I think they are beyond wonderful!

I researched these cymbals for a few months before purchasing and I’m glad I did. These will cut through any style of music your playing and just an amazing bright sound, it’s like having the 2002 series without the price tag!!!

These are great cymbals, good sound not to high or low pitch. Great response. High hat have a clean chick, ride has clean sound and the crashes are clean sounding as well! Good investment!
