Amazing drumset for my 5 year old! I've been playing drums for years and was able to get this together in a matter of minutes. Tuning is weird since they are tiny so if you tune too low it's too lose on the head. Nothing cheap about this set and sounds amazing.

Not having a lot of experience with drums (I’m a guitar player), I had hoped this would have come with instructions or something on how to assemble a little easier, especially as a “beginner’s” kit. But once it was together, it’s a nice little kit. It’s too small for taller kids, as the symbols and throne only reach so high. But it is definitely a quality kit.

I purchased this kit just before Christmas for my 5 year old daughter. Right out of the box it sounded good. Hats off to Pearl drums for an excellent entry level drum kit. Easy to put together, easy to tune and very appealing to the eye. Once again, AMS has proved to be a reliable source for quality gear at an affordable price. Highly recommend this company for entry level, novice or pros alike.

Impeccable set although it's a Jr size it definitely Has potential. The set up was easy in each part putting together. The quality and durability in its exterior and interior part shows it has a life time expectancy. The symbols are basic but in it's use they come through with out a problem. I'm 24 yrs old and I have a lot of fun with it. Oh yeah! I almost forgot thanks for the drum sticks.

This is the first drum set I've ever purchased. I read mixed reviews but was pretty confident in the "Pearl" name. My order arrived in just a couple of days. The box was damaged on the bottom and I was a little worried. I laid out all of the pieces and found the 13" Tom head was damaged. I called customer support and they immediately shipped me a replacement head. Awesome service! Seeing all of the pieces laid out was slightly overwhelming. I read comments that people were upset that there were no directions. It clearly stated to visit a pearl website for video instructions. The video made it a breeze to assemble. I watched a few other videos to get everything tuned up. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound. Let's be honest, it's not a high dollar kit but it definitely delivers. My son was stoked.

I had the pleasure of putting this incredible kit together for my 2 year old twin boys for their first music instrument for Christmas. It is well crafted and sturdy. Every part was included and easy to put together if you have ever put a kit together that is. The drum heads are great for a beginning set and the cymbals sound amazing for a starter kit. The color I choose was black to match my own kit and it looks great right out the box. The drum seat is high quality and adjusts perfectly for their growing heights. They love the kit and their mom hates the noise which makes me happy.

It would have been nice if the person shipping had handled it in a better way before sending it out.It was suppose to be new, but in my eyes it was used with the damaged wood. That's not cool. I paid good money for my instruments, and I expect better.
