The base is smooth and adjustable to your liking and or the room size. Sound is comparable if not better than any other product of it's kind.

Just purchased my 2nd DM118 Sub to pair up with the DM112 tops. Was looking for another set up that can do medium size venues. If you’re starting out djing I recommend this series by Peavey. Very affordable and they sound very good. Build very well, looks like a high end unit. The Kosoms feature really adds punch to the lows. Can’t go wrong for the proce.

I own 4 of these 18” DM 118 Peavey’s and they are beasts. They are by far the best subs I owned as well as powered. Give them a try, well worth the money!

The DM118 kicks out some serious low end! An excellent crossover & kosmos C controls really work great. Plus it came with the mounting polls for a set of mains, & wheel casters, that you can assemble, if you choose! Great product!
