I already own the ipr7500 and needed 2 more amps to complete my other passive system. The first time I used the amp I wasn't satisfied, I was using a generator and I believe I had 2 amps plugged in on the same side of the generator. So I waited for the next opportunity to play the amp again and I was amazed. I played the amp at 4 OHMS all night without any issues.
Now I have 2 ipr 5000 & 2 ipr 7500

Bought this amp to push some SP2-18’s. Late 90’s model G series Peaveys. This amp does the job with zero hesitation, and I still have plenty of head room to push the speakers to their full potential! Very pleased with the product, performance, and not to mention it’s a really good looking design on the amp.

This is the second Peavey IPR2 5000 that I have bought. After having the first amp for about a year, I took it to Guatemala and installed it in a church to power their two Peavey SP 4 house speakers on one channel leaving a spare channel for future growth. Not only did it run cool with their full band, it gave them the power they needed without tripping their sub par electric circuit.
