Product Review This handles like a dream! The tone is just beautiful. Deep lows and not that “ tinny” spins you often here with other basses. The comfort of the neck is easy on my hands! Smooth colorful finish on the body. All I had to do was open it out of the box and straighten the neck a little and I was playing with in 10 minutes! I am so impressed from the ease of ordering to the fast delivery and the quality of the instrument! I got a lot and this can handle the job! I wouldn’t hesitate on this!

Not Like The Photos, But Plays Great

Product Review The blue burst looks a lot different than in the photos. The blue doesn't "pop," it's duller and darker. The outer edges are almost black. Also, it's a satin, almost flat finish, not a gloss. Oddly, even though it's a regular 34" scale, it FEELS shorter. Not sure of why, have owned other Peaveys that didn't feel this way. But it has turned out to be an unintended blessing, as it is making the transition from 4 strings to 5 much easier and smoother. It plays like a dream and has thump to spare with the active electronics. Don't have a feel yet for how long the batteries last. Also, swapping batteries (there are two 9v) is not a 10-second endeavor (requires small P1 Phillips head screwdriver, and a 2nd small flat screwdriver to pry off the cover). Holds tune extremely well. Don't know if it matters anymore, but it's made in Indonesia, not the U.S. Overall, I'm very happy with this.
