This is a great amp with just the features I need. Great for gigs, not too big but not too small. Had bought a used one locally in rough cosmetic shape and used it for gigs for about a year, when it went on sale decided to get another brand new one! Sounds excellent and this one looks much better!

The shipping was extremely fast. Ordered it on a Friday and received it on a Monday. Our bass guitarist played through it for the first time in our Sunday service. The sound and volume were awesome. The sound was also very clear. I like the fact that we were able to get it on sale. Definitely worth the money! Great quality! Won't be disappointed.

I love this thing! As soon as I took it out the box I was Abe to plug and play. I love how user friendly the amp is. It sounds amazing as well. The rich deep bottoms sounds so amazing!! My favorite thing is the auxiliary...it’s nice to be able to play along with the music you’re listening to. I would definitely recommend this.

I’ve had a hard decision to make a few months ago in getting a new amp for my keyboard. So instead of asking my pianonplayer friends, I asked my bass player friends! The reason I went with this one is because it offers bright sound in the equalization, and it allows you to boost the brightness as well as the mid and bass. This will last longer for a piano player. Equalizer is more powerful. Since it’s built for a bassist, it will take a very long time for this product to not work. I’m looking forward to a 10+ year relationship with this one.

This bass amp is great the Tweeter gives it real sweet highs and if you want that real crunchy low you can turn the Tweeter off I would recommend this bass amp for anybody and everybody

I have it five stars, but I want to give it 4.5 only because it clipped a note with the volume almost maxed out. But that wasn't during a gig; I was just playing at home.
We played our regular Wednesday and Friday night gigs right after I got this thing. Wednesday night we only had about 60-75 folks so I didn't even plug into the PA. Worked great. Was told twice to turn it down lol.
Friday night, we did 16 songs and took a break. Checked on my rig and she wasn't even hot. We played from 8pm til 2am and never waivered. Love this thing. No regrets so far.

Other than the fact that it was shipped without the power cord or any documentation(an open box item), I'm happy with this purchase. The amp performs well, and is really loud. the cord, when it came a day later, is 8 ft long, making it relatively easy to get power to it. Thw control layout is simple, yet more than adequate. Both of my basses have passive pups, but if I get one with active pups, this amp will accommodate it.

Love the sound. Control knobs should have been lower in the cabinet. The chicken knobs could get mashed and ruin the controls. Outside of that , love the amp. Bought it at a competitor.

I have had nothing but problems with this. I have owned it for less that a year and It has been returned twice to Peavey to get it fixed under warranty. Each time it costs a fifty spot to ship. I should have invested in a better brand.
It is unreliable and doesn't hold up. It hasn't been abused, never played above half volume, and not banged around gigging. Just used for practice. Even if I wanted to gig with it, I am afraid it would fail at a show. I thought Peavey made a good product. I was wrong.
Features are what was expected. I really like the built in tuner.
Sound quality could be better, but you get what you pay for.
The controls are logically laid out. Nice when it works.
Tone is OK. I have heard and used better.
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! It has a 5 year warranty, but at what time do you cut your losses and stop sending it for repairs. At 50 a shot to ship it, its not worth it. Let alone the 5-6 weeks you don't have while it gets repaired. AMS will not exchange it because it is still under Peaveys warranty, so I am the big loser in the end. Trust me, stay away from this item.

Amp seems to be well made, however when I received it, the gain was stuck wide open, making it impossible to get a clean sound. I am sending this one back, but I'll probably buy another one just like it. when you get a good one, they sound great.

Built like a tank and awesome sounding!
I prefer soft rock, country, and some gospel music and this amp fills the bill for any & all of the above! No disappointments from here!
Everything I expected from a Peavey Bass Amp! I like the variation of tonal options that is has to offer. And with a full five years of warranty...that gives me peace of mind. And I know without a doubt that A.M.S. has me covered regardless of the product.
Great sounds for not a whole lot of bucks! I think dollar-for-dollar....the best combo bass amp out today!
Love the way the controls are laid out on the top with the "chicken-head" control knobs. Very easy to read 'em all and extremely easy to read the settings.
The tone is what bass-players thrive for. I don't play big venues anymore but what I do play for it far exceeds my needs. Don't have the need for distortion but I would be willing to bet that this amp will suit about any bassists desires when it comes to tones.
Got more than what I expected out of it for the price I paid for it. And again...A.M.S. always makes it possible for me to get that gear that I long to own! Thanks again A.M.S.!

Overall a respectful and powerful bass amp that's a well made typical Peavey available for the gig minded bassist that wont break your back lugging it around from gig to gig. It has a light footprint will fit in the back of your car and will also fit very well for the closet place venue stage areas we all get stuck playing at and you will have no problem keeping up with that gorilla drummer of yours. this amp can cover small, medium or larger rooms and not work up a sweat
overall quality is excellent for the money involved and another home run for AMS "Way to Go Guys" !!
Features are well laid out and fully functional not hyped up like some products out there you can trust AMS and Peavey to deliver time after time
As far as sound quality goes what can I say it's a Peavey the leader in bass in-ovations, quality and more bang for your buck
Controls are well laid out and easy to use, they make sense, you can adjust them on the fly and not have to be a rocket scientist this product should appeal to a lot of us old timers who grew up with just a volume treble and bass control now you have that and more on steriods
The different tone combinations available are remarkable
Don't miss out on this one you will get what your expecting and for the money nothing in its price class can compare. You'll wonder why did I ever buy that designer bass amp from my friend down the block for all that money when I could have got this instead!
