Package arrived fast. Product was shipped in a well padded and heavy duty box. Hooked it up to my mixing board and amp. The sound was loud and clear. I will be purchasing another one to make it a set. My granddaughter was enjoying the music dancing and having fun.

Use them for my Dj business I’ve used them speakers like that for over 25 years that’s a great product. I don’t believe in amplified so I go with the regular speakers and they sounded great.

I bought four of these for PA for my garage band and for music playback at parties and receptions for DJ. To their credit with maybe 200 watts of clean power they are ear ringing loud. Its quantity over quality. If your looking for smooth accurate sound from high quality mixes spend a little more money. Peavey SP series are the real deal. Excellent sound reproduction. And can play very loud and fill a large venue. The PV 115 sound falls off quick to the sides of speakers and do not fill a large room. Fair sound that will play loud.

When I first started DJing back in 1989, I got a pair of Peavey SP3s - big, heavy, durable, heavy, high-quality, and HEAVY. I still have them, and they still work well after all these years (with very few repairs necessary in the meantime).
I told myself long ago that I would never be one of those guys who used little speakers on tripods for DJing. But, as I got older, and my back got older with me, I found that I really needed smaller, more portable speakers, so I got a pair of PV115s and... well... put them on tripods. (At least I can say that they are not LITTLE speakers.)
These things sound pretty amazing. The bass is not stellar, but I wasn't expecting it to be. They meet my expectations - good full-range speakers for decent-sized crowds for parties and mobile gigs. They're still pretty heavy, but not nearly as heavy as the SP3s, which I now use in a non-mobile capacity in the club/entertainment room of my house.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed... and Peavey still has my respect.

I bought these speakers 2 years ago to use with my karaoke rig and no matter the size of the venue, these things offer clear and powerful bass along with highs and have never let me down! Peavey got it right and AMS' financing helped me step my game up to the next level!!

Construction may not be as good as others, but for the price @ $219 per speaker hard to beat.
The weight is around 51# and the handles make for easy use.
Connection to the speakers is very straight forward with the 1/4" connections on the back. Daisy Chaining is easy with dual (paralleled)connections.
The sound seems ample and very little if any distortion. This of course depends upon what you are driving them with.

Well made for the price. I'd prefer plywood to particle board. The woofers have a heavy magnet on a stamped basket, but I expected that for the price. Don't want to let the well meaning, but inebriated volunteer roadie cart these off the stage. One good crash could bend a basket, and kill a 15.
Very good low cost speakers. It would be nice if they were bi-ampable. Might make that alteration in the future.
Easy to use and not too heavy.
They sound fine. Maybe it's psychological, but I still like the sound of wood cabinets better than molded plastic.

I like the adition of the metal corners and metal grate peavey got it right.
The pure sound and portability of the peavey 115 is outstanding. Nice addition to my aresenal.
Extrememly easy to use like they say on tv "so easy a cave could do it."
That is the main point that I am sold on Peavey is outstanding in tonal quality.

Solid construction, should last. Maybe consider adding speakon con. seems that is the way everything else is going.
Plug and play.
Crisp and clear. I bi-amp so the only job these have are to cary my mids and highs.

Made well, Nice and Light only 50 lbs each and when you put them on stands like I do this means a lot!

Very easy to use no rocket science here!
VALUE:
Excellent Value for the price! Crystal clear highs and will even handle some kick drum. Did I mention how light they are? YEAH!!!!!!
SOUND:
Killer Sound! I could not be more pleased. I use these with a set of Kustom monitors and the Mackie 808M head. It is all I will ever need for small venues.
