These are great, they do basically everything that I need them too. Basically every feature you will need can be located through the touch screen interface. As home studio gear, they are perfect.
The one downside is they dont play high end WAVs or FLACs, but this is common across all non-3000s DJ devices from Pioneer so its nothing unexpected. It plays lower quality WAVs and MP3s just fine, so its absolutely no problem.

This piece of gear is awesome if your looking for an alternative to the CDJ’s and you use Rekordbox only. It’s awesome in HID mode. It is useable on Serato but you have to use a DVS file in a usb drive. Overall I love using it with my DDJ-1000’s for 4 deck setup.

Ordering the pioneer equipment through ams was a smooth and simple process! Equipment arrived quite quickly and with no blemishes. I love my xdjs and djm750. The only issue I had was with one of the xdj touch screens having some issues that needed repair but it seems to be common with that pioneer product.

These things are great, they are the closest thing to a cdj you can get without paying CDJ prices.
Everything here translates to anything that is club standard out there.
My main complaint is that the cue/play button will give out years down the road, but that’s normal wear and tear, but if you keep up with servicing them at a local pioneer certified repair shop, they’ll keep going for as long as you decide to keep them.

So the last 2 years ive owned Cdjs Nexus at home finally and its been great, i picked up these MK2s and i was highly impressed at how well they are made and function. Anyone who steps on these decks will straight away be amazed at the simplicity but yet so loaded features. The big touch screen and analysis of tracks are right on point, even more so than the CDJ-2000 NEXUS 2 in my opinion. Whether you're a Pro or a bedroom DJ, played on decks or DJM controller you'll instantly have a sense of familiarity. The touch screen is highly reactive to touch and really there's no difference in the physical loops buttons or queue points. Scanning the library for tracks is a wiz with search features. Again I can't recommend these decks enough, especially if you are upgrading to a more pro system and want decks that are just as amazing as their big brothers at a better price point. I am a well-known DJ and have played on these since they've come out and they are practically flawless and can handle even the heaviest traffic and I have played many club sets and festivals with them, without even a hiccup!!!

These come highly Recommended! i have had CDJ Nexus 2000s and a XDJ Rx2.... but these tale the cake. There are so similar to the Cdj2000 nexus 2s. Really the only thing missing from this model and the Nexus 2000s are the hot cue buttons on the decks. You still have Hot cues they are just integrated into the touch screen by using the “perform” button on the lcd screen. So its all here. Another major thing worth noting is these have FULL COLOR WAVEFORM which is so nice in mixing to see where vocals, drops, and other file variations are located in the track. Do you yourself a favor and save a couple grand by purchasing these instead of the Nexus’s.
these do not have CD Slots- but not sure who uses cds anymore any ways! Happy mixing!! ??????

I purchased two of these XDJs about 10 months ago wanting to broaden my skill as a DJ, but could not afford the CDJ2000 NSX2s. Let me tell you. These bad boys have just as much to offer as the expensive ones, a lot of the psychical buttons are removed and the CD slot, but all those buttons can be found within the beautiful large 7" full color touch screen, and I use only USB these days. The look and feel is impressive and just right for me, and they preform so well.
Since my purchase I have been able to successfully transition from a controller to these and then CDJs with ease and confidence. This product is quality and preforms exceptionally along side the NSX2s or any other class of CDJ. I am highly satisfied with this purchase and AMS's 12 months no interest payment plans made all it possible for for someone like myself to own a pair of these. It's a dream come true! If you are in the market. I say look no further! The Pioneer XDJ 1000s are amazing!

The XDJ is just as good as CDJ 2000 minus the hot cues points ,the link in the back and oh half the price. I will say I do wish the hot cues were a button you could press other than the touch screen on the XDJ. I do like how the XDJ its significant lighter and which can be used as an add on for more decks. I had it for about 3 months and no issues yet . It works just as good as any other Cdj and meet my expectations just make sure you update to it's current software .

Love these decks! If you are looking for the feel and performance of the club standard, but can afford the 2000mk2 decks, these are for you. I stopped using CDs a while ago, so taking a digital approach made sense for me. The features are amazing. In addition to rekordbox integration, the looping feature and ability to be smart about music selection make these power house players.
I’ve been able to enjoy practicing at home when I want without planning. I’ve been able to kick up the creativity with more room to enjoy my music and less time getting bogged down with features I don’t use.
Again the financing was a huge help. I’ve been waiting for years to buy new players and thought I’d never save enough. But AMS makes getting gear now possible! Very very happy to have these babies!

If your interested at all in the XDJ-1000mk2's go ahead and buy them now and save yourself some time. They are amazing basically a CDJ-2000 minus the disc slot. (nobody uses discs anymore "hardly" ) Great product as always from Pioneer. Can't wait to buy 2 more for my set up to have 4 decks!
