I bought these because I wanted to try Promark sticks and these were the only ones available in 5A 16" with an acorn tip. The sticks are nicely balanced and the large acorn tip is perfect, what really surprised me was the active grip coating, it is awesome. You can relax your grip and just play without that feeling that the sticks are moving around in your hand, and they feel great in your hands. The only thing I would like to see is a set of these where the coating does not go all the way to the shoulder of the stick but maybe half way. The coating does dampen your cymbal sound.

I really really dig these PM Activegrips.. The balance is precisely and just simply smooth.. The rebound is quick and continuous every single stroke..
