Here's my honest review. I was about to buy the Eris 3.5 based on thousands of great online reviews and for its neutral flat sound but it was sold out and glad it was sold out so I went with the Eris 4.5, a better choice I've made! I used to be a crazy audiophile back in the mid-1990s so I can hear what good speakers or monitors should sound like(In my opinion) These pair did justice for my extra bedroom recording studio, the sound? Neutral, less colored, flat, the bass is tight and not boomy(very important) I can hear every nuance of instruments and vocals very cleary that surprisingly can't hear on my home audio speaker system. The built quality is something I can compare to B&W speakers made with kevlar back in the 90s which costs over $500-$1500 plus! Eris E4.5 too is made with kevlar for $200, what a deal! It was worth forking up the extra $100. Go with this one!

The size of the Tweeter is a full 1 inch with a beautifully bright sound. The Woofer, though relatively small at 4 inches, has surprisingly deep bass and good resounding mid-range.
The controls - on/off switch and volume dial - are on the front panel and thus easy to reach. There even are 3.5mm aux-in and headphone inputs upfront.
I was surprised at how great the monitors sounded when I played my favorite jazz on them.
I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I needed a pair of small speakers for some semi-critical monitoring, and after reading the reviews at AMS and elsewhere, chose these Eries 4.5's. Couldn't be happier with my decision. My mixes are already benefitting from them!

All I cans say is WOW! Hooked these up to my desktop and use them for Amplitube and listening to music. These are incredible sounding speakers! Installed on a shelf with tweeters at ear level per the instructions. I had to turn the lows down! If you are looking to upgrade from computer speakers and/or need some low cost monitors for playback, do not hesitate to purchase!

These monitors are amazing. After struggling for 2 months on a mix (9 instruments including strings, guitars, keyboards, & horns) with old monitors, I purchased these. Since I am in an apartment with very limited space (4 ft x 4 ft), these seemed a good fit. In a matter of 4 hours I had the mix down perfectly. The clarity of these monitors in incredible. I have read other reviews that said the bottom end was weak due to the size of the speakers themselves. I found this not to be true. I actually had to tone down the upper end a bit for mixing, because the ear fatigue was a bit much. The Acoustic settings for your individual space and needs works very well. I would recommend these to anyone with a small space and needing to get a good mix.

The clarity and accuracy of these...within minutes we were able to correct some minor issues with our mixes.
Not many studio are priced in pairs like these, and they are Well worth the price!
