These monitors have a pretty good quality sound I was using them for vocals. Great to start with as you get your budget up. Unfortunately, I have gone through 2 sets and both didn't last very long. Not sure why. Honestly like I said it's great for starters.

+ Good, flat frequency response. This is a studio monitor, not a loudspeaker. You won't get thunderous bass out of it, but it's nearly perfect for mixing.
+ Acoustic tuning controls allow a fair amount of customization, especially for non-ideal speaker placement and/or casual listening.
+ Rubber stick-on feet are included (though you'll likely place these on foam, instead).
+ The blue LED is a nice touch (it's on when the speaker is powered on)
- It weighs just over 10 pounds. Make sure your stands are sturdy.

Other monitors in this class (5-inch woofer) won't much offer more, but they will cost more. These are good for the musician who needs good monitors without breaking the bank.

Depending on how you set these up you can have the ELAC sound, JBL, or Yamaha!! They are AUDIOPHILE STUDIO MONITORS!! Plain and simple, highly detailed audio, deep, rich bass, extremely fast response, these are the BEST KEPT SECRET WEAPON monitors right now!! You will NOT be disappointed!! I have compared them to all of the above and they absolutely meet or exceed!! Totally unexpected!! PRESONUS is absoulutely cutting edge on the cabinet design and everything else all the way down to the custom woven Kevlar!! Im familiar with the Krk rocketts and a set of high end adams and these presonus monitors give the adams a run for the money. Recording sounds great and playing music or watching movies as well. They get REALLY loud with out losing defination. 10/10 Glad my guitarist recommended these to me!

Absolutely love these ??.. Only thing negative I can say is don't leave a cell phone on top or within 1 foot. Makes a bad sound.. And send the warranty in within 14 days just to be safe..

I have a home studio in a somewhat small room. Just got these speakers today and tested them on several genres of music. So far I absolutely love them. I saw a lot of online forums recommending the JBL LSR305 in this price range but so far I am thrilled with my decision. These speakers are crystal clear in all frequency ranges. Haven't even tweaked the rear settings yet.

The Eris E5 Monitors offer a powerful and clear projection of your music. It allows you to hear each and every nuiance at low and high volumes. The bass support for smaller rooms also allows you to get clear and unmuffled sounds in tight spaces. Great product for the price!!

A solid purchase... No regrets.
Built to last. I have kids, and the kids do battle with them every now and then, and the speakers are always the winner!
Plug in, flip the switch!
What I hear in my beats headphones, is what I hear from these. For production on a budget, this is the first step to glory.
Still alive and kick in, I expect a long relationship with these.

They look great. Very sleek looking, compact, and have a nice weight to them. SOLID!
Only had them for a day so far and already love them. Extremely well built with some great features.
Extremely easy to use. Only took 5 minutes to plug and play. I got the package which included the Nano Patch and boy am I glad I did!
Best feature is definitely the overall quality of the speaker. And for the price, well worth it!
Sound is beautiful! Nice and flat unlike the KRK's which I do like, but not as much as these. These are more crisp and clear...the KRK's are loud but get too pitchy. These sound amazing for what I do. Produce tracks and remixes and mashups. They play loud and clear!
Only had for a day and a half. Im sure they will last for however long I am going to keep them.

My husband bought these monitors to equip my home studio where I record language educational podcasts. The monitors exceeded my expectations - the sound is really great. I can clearly hear every single nuance of my pronunciation, which is critically important for language learning records.
Very well made and reliable.
My husband plugged them in in 10 minutes.
QUality of sound is amazing.
My voice is rather high and not that loud. These monitors help me hear what I couldn't hear without them. The whole range of frequencies from high to low is well audible.
I've been using them for just a week, so far so good.
