We use it as a multi-player monitor. It cuts down on the whining from grown men who act like children because they don't get to go first listening to playback, and while laying down their tracks. This has saved me from using my taser countless times on the whiners. Seriously, it is worth every penny and the clarity is excellent. Plug and play is definitely in this thing's description. There's quality and reliability in this tiny little box.

I love Presonus products , I needed a better Headphone amp for recording and live for IEMs this amp is really nice no noise and built tough and American Musical Supply is a Great store , I like the Rock star 12 payment plan and they work with you if there’s a problem and need to return and Nice people to deal with on the phone

This is a great little headphone amp. I purchased for a high end set Hifiman Arya which this amplifier is clearly not meant for. Hence the 3 stars but for lower end phones this amplifier allows 4 separate people to use and its quality is ok.

I have always plugged my headphones into the available headphone jack on my Audio Input device and have always wanted to try a separate Headphone Amplifier....I am So glad i did! Presonus makes excellent affordable Components for Recording and this piece of equipment is no exception. I didn't realize i was missing so much detail in my audio recording's. Thanks AMS!

I love Presonus products. The majority of my equipment is Presonus :-) this little headphone amp is a great addition to my home studio. it helps to connect the extra headphones for others to listen to the music and vocals at once and work with the controls to increase and decrease as they listen.

For the price I wasn’t expecting to much.
However .. I have four pairs of
600, 420, 280, 34 impedance headphones and all of them plugged in while I’m mixing and I’m swapping between all of them until I found a sound that sounds great on all of them simultaneously .. it’s beautiful, easy to use, small and pumps my sound through my phones with rich clarity and no artifacts at all .
Thank you for such an incredible product by presonus . AMS killls it with the payment plans too. Wow. Just wow. Love this place .

I have had this guy for a little over a month now and it has proven itself as a worthy addition to my rig. The amp feels very nice in terms of build quality. Some of the edges aren't as smooth as they could be but not a big deal. The dials are smooth with the smallest of movements making a big difference in volume. The signal quality is excellent with no discernible coloration to the sound. It also delivers enough power to drive my HD 650's. The pass-through to my monitors is the main reason I bought this plus the ability to have multiple headphone listeners. Great buy. Definitely recommend.

It's a good, simple handy unit for me to have. Even though I mostly record my own tracks, I use this device to plug in several different headphones so I can work on different mixes: my top-of-the-line headphones, my middle-of-the-road headphones, and my mediocre ones.
It has a decently rugged feel.
Very easy to use.
I love the monmix button.
Yes. Four outputs is all I need. It's nice to have an option other than the 8 port, rackmount units.

Seems like a well built little unit.
4 headphone inputs.
I bought it because I wanted a headphone amp as my multitracker was a little low in volume. BUT the big selling point of this is the ability to put this between your source and monitors and have the ability to mute or control the volume of your monitors, alot easier than reaching behind 2 krk rokit 6's and adjusting the volume...For this alone it is worth the money.
So easy a caveman could use it!
Great value...I would rather see it at about $100

presonus makes well built stuff- this feels like it's well built even though it's pretty low cost
the monitor pass-thru is extremely useful- i'm feeding it into a second pair of monitors to compare mixes
extremely idiot proof
Yup- the output to the headphones is great- adds a whole new level of flexibility to the tracking environment

QUALITY:
Extremely wel built. You have no cosmetic and integrity concerns when buying this piece
FEATURES:
I wanted something that would not color sounds passing from the headphones to my ear. This is the device to achieve that. One knob per channel. I do not need EQ to come with my headphone amp. I need it to boost signal and it does that in spades.
EASE OF USE:
As I said, each channel has a single knob. Nuff said.
VALUE:
Price to quality ratio is plain funny. For $100, you get an excellent, uncolored boost in headphone signal. Period.
SOUND:
No coloring at any volume.
