I bought this guitar as my first dive into the beautiful world of 7 string guitars. I am now hooked. The neck is great and easy to get used to. The tone is amazing, although I do plan on replacing he pickups eventually. The stock ones are great for now. I love the coil tapping feature as I t gives you a lot of options. The scale length not being the longest can make the 7th string a little wobbly while playing in drop A. Not terrible, but more than id like. The string is fine in standard B tuning. This guitar is a beautiful introduction to 7 strings and I highly recommend it!

I was surprised to get this guitar so fast! The next day after ordering it!! It played great out of the box! I did adjust the truss rod and lowered the action a little more now it plays as great as any Ibanez I've ever owned! Even as great as a UV777 which I have owned in the past. I got it as a back up to my Ibanez 7 string but I wanted one that didn't look so shreddy. This one fit the bill. Classic look and a huge variety of tones to boot. The stock pickups are great! Even with a lot of distortion the chords ring out! It sounds like a strat/tele/Les Paul all in one! Plus the 7th string which I tune to drop A doesn't sound muddy!
