High quality, well thought out and one of the most intuitive digital board software interfaces and structures around. SO much simpler than a Behringer X32 as far as routing etc. The only thing I miss about this compared to the older Presonus rack boards is the mono output which was perfect for subs, but I can use one of the many aux outs for aux fed subs instead. This thing has inputs and outputs for daaaays. So flexible and handy. Rock solid reliability with the digital connections so far as well. Pretty much perfect!

at first I was looking for a replacement for my 8 channel interface and this came across my Feed... I immediately thought it was overkill
but boy was I wrong!... It took my studio from Blah... TO DANG BRO lol.... and Joshua from American musical was the best! he literally called me when the order was processed and when it was shipped and the day it was suppose to arrive!
this thing has features!! I can control it from the other room via wifi or an iPad or the included UC Control!!
the software & effects it comes with allows you to make HIT records right out of the box!

I bought this interface to record drums. I have a large kit and needed more than 16 XLR inputs. I am now using 21 mics. The main features that led me to choose this interface is not only the number of inputs but the ability to gate and compress during recording rather than having to do it in post with plugins. There are output I/O limitations when using it with Pro Tools and Pro Tools Ultimate but it's definitely not a show stopper and is a DAW limitation that Avid needs to resolve. I also use this interface to record full bands live and it works great. I would definitely recommend it!

We have been using the Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 for several years and I was pleased with it. Now, we have grown to 10 vocalists who are mic’d as well as a dedicated pulpit microphone, 2 keyboard stacks, tracks and drum mics to cover! With the Presonus 32R, I have the channels we need for the entire Praise Team and the ability to have 16 separate auxiliary mixes, as well as a mix for live streaming.
It was also important to me to be able to track live and the 32R provides for recording 32 tracks plus a stereo mix to an SD card.
I’m loving this unit!

Got this to eliminate a snake I was using with my touchmix and to have recalled gain instead of a trim knob and gain. Works well love having more channels and no need for a snake. Lots and lots of different eqs and compression everything from new to tube style. Works great for tracking also into studio one. Few down falls no xlr outside on sub groups I just bought some adaptors so I didn't have to buy more cables. Their is also a pretty big learning curve I went from analog to digital with a qsc which was rather seamless besides having to record to flash drive now the presonus is setup with so much routing and different took some videos and tinkering before I figured some things out. Over all I would recommend for anyone.

It requires the user to read the manual otherwise you will not use it properly, it's a bit difficult to use, but I have no doubt about the quality of the product and the applications, effects, I still trying to learn more about all features, I had ZOOM L-20R and that was extremely easy to use, love it but I was in need of a big rack with more than 24 channels

I've purchased several Presonus products, and had the original version of their 32 ch. rackmount mixer, and still using it. But, needed a versatile multi-channel audio interface for studio. Purchased this rackmount mixer, and Presonus shows it still provides quality and versatility in a compact, and affordable package. Easy setup and very user friendly.

I have worked with several digital boards and by far this is the most hardest app to use. The free plugins require an expert user to install and use on top endless registrations. Once you jump those hurdles this is a very powerful mixer thats versatile like no other. The fact that it doubles as a stage box/boh mixer makes it more impressive. Clean and clear sound from a small footprint.

I got this mixer to pair with my Presonus 64s mixer and it works great!!! The routing is great I can send or receive on either unit which gives me a lot of flexibility in my home studio....so far no issues

I am a software developer. This device is what I have longed for since hooking up 4 Layla cards to rack up 32 channels. This device nails several different needs. I use this for recording. you can hook up 32 channels as a mixer and record that show to your favorite DAW. amazing!

This box is a complete redo of the RM32, a giant leap forward! Finally, we have choices in our EFX and Dynamics!
The one downside is that, at least currently, we have lost the spectral display in the RTA.

A full 32 channel digital mixer for $1400 on 0% interest payments? It doesn't get any better than that! It's a full 32 channel StudioLive series III mixer without the clunky box with all the faders and buttons. I'm talking 32 preamps and 16 returns. It sounds great. Best $1400 we're still spending because we got it on payments plan.

I have been a long time user of Presonus products and was very excited to get my hands on one of these. I got it out in the field the first week I had it and was very pleased with new features, as well as the familiar interface. The addition of onboard real time RTA analysis made dialing in the room a breeze. Add to that the onboard SD card recording and downloadable plug ins, and this has become my new go to board!
