Product Review Just bought a pair this week, used them at my gig last night first time. The clarity is awesome, not to heavy on the back. The programming feature is straight forward and easy to do. My only complaint, which is why did not get 5 stars is the mounting. As with the previous series, there is not a lug to lock the speaker in place on a pole. The vibrations cause the speakers to turn. So I find myself adjusting the position all night long, annoying. QSC - Please develop a way to lock them down on a pole.

Product Review I’ve had the speakers for three years now, this was the best upgrade that I’ve had… I’ve tried a multitude of other speakers, but the QSC k.2s are the best. I am a hip-hop/club DJ, but I also do mobile gigs and weddings… Usually for a small crowd of about 150 people I can manage with just these two speakers, if I noticed that the client is requesting more of a hip-hop urban or even island type of music. I bring a sub because those type of music are really bass heavy… But for the most part the speakers will get you through any event. The settings on the back which allow you to control how much bass, or the the location type whether it’s a club or a vocal event are amazing and very easy to use. I purchased these because I noticed the warranty, but the speakers can take a beating, I haven’t blown any or had any issues with it but thank God I know that the warranty is here for peace of mind. If you know how to manage your audio and not have everything peaking red then there shouldn’t be any issues with your speaker in my honest opinion, If you find yourself pushing the speakers to the limit and Red lining everything, then you didn’t bring enough speakers for the event or you didn’t set up a monitor so you could monitor your sound. If you get these speakers you won’t be disappointed.

Product Review I bought these to use as mains, but after trying out some of the settings, I have found these speakers to be very dynamic. I have used them in a three piece band with no issues cutting through, nay, getting over the too loud drummer in the group (that'll learn'em). I have used these speakers for DJ gigs, no problem. Out of doors, hooked up to a cell phone? No problem. These are not Aerosmith circa 1979 speakers, by any stretch, but are they clear? Yes. Do they have a nice bottom end? Yes. Are they light enough that this out of shape dude can carry them in two at a time? Yes. Bang for the buck in the quality department- 4.5 out of 5 bucks. The only draw back I have found is just how sensitive they are. In small rooms, you do have to dial them back quite a bit to avoid feedback. Unfortunately, there is no middle ground; these babies are either meek as a lamb (and slightly quieter) or they roar like a lion.

Product Review Ordered on Thursday afternoon received at 9:00 Am Friday, used them at a show on Saturday afternoon, great service from ams. Speakers are all they claim to be. Always used Bose L1 Model II but sound and power was not there for outside shows . The QSC 12.2 blew the crowd away.and having them delivered in time for that show made me a AMS customer for ever. Product Review The speaker is pretty loud. I'm still figuring out the settings, which I'm not to happy with. The settings definitely require you read the manual, otherwise you will be lost. It's not like my EVs where you have the basic Bass, Mid, Treble settings. Its a full on technical equalizer. I do like how it doesnt have white noise/static sound when turned on and no music playing, my EVs are ridiculously annoying with their white noise.

Product Review I bought two QSC k12.2 because I saw all the good reviews. After less than six months with them both of them stopped working right before an event I had. It was a disaster. I had to pay to send them to get fixed which took about two weeks. Today two years later after the warranty expired one of them blew up again and the party has not even started. I know I would have 6 years if I registered it in 30 days but I did not see that and no one mentioned it to me. So here I am with a blow speaker and huge headache. They sound pretty good when they work but be prepared for them to blow up on you.

Product Review My name is dj joey jammz I have owned all top of the line stuff my entire career- I’m a sound junkie and love to have power behind my music- having clients tell you to make the music louder or blowing a speaker is embarrassing and not professional. Any way I like 15inch tops my whole career I was skeptical about the hype on these qsc k12.2... I pulled the trigger and called American musical like always I was hooked up and had the gear at my door that week no issues. I did 2 back to back parties the last event having 1400 guests at it... I had no subs and just added an additional set of old speakers on the sides to fill the room ... I was pushing these things like I wanted to blow them not only did it fill the room the sound quality was crystal clear... I never clipped the speakers once and when I placed my hand behind the speakers it was blowing out cool air ... I was blown away by the quality and capabilities of these things... it’s very rare I buy something and end up more happy and satisfied I feel I got what I paid for and more. I have video of the event to prove the amount of people and the performance from the speakers- Fellow djs if you were like me I’m telling you these speakers are everything you need and more. It’s refreshing to see a company putting out quality stuff that helps us sound and look our best - in the past I believed other hypes and was disappointed. I’m able to work off my investment because of American musical and have nice things. Thank you QSC and American Musical for everything ! I’ll be back to get those new qsc subs in a few months ! Product Review I'm a mobile DJ and have the Bose L1 model which I've been generally happy with, but I needed a backup set of speakers. I bought the QSC K12.2 2000 watt powered speakers. And may I say "WOW" THEY SOUND AWESOME...... Very clear highs, and a nice low bass and I love the different options/settings on the speakers. I will tell everyone about these speakers, but that's all you have to do is Listen and you will run out and get you some of that....... thanks Dennis Greensfelder

Product Review I use these outside for crowds up to 1500 people for live music. Never have a problem pushing about 128 db at 30 to 50 ft from stage.. I cant believe how these things cut. Also use indoors with phenomenal results. I tried several other 12 inch speakers before settling on these.. The only downside is the coverage.. They are a little narrow to cove a wide crowd with out some holes but if you use 4 of them there's no limit.

Product Review I have used several qsc k series. A K10, K10.2, KW122, K12, and most recently K12.2. While the kw122 offers undeniable roundness with the wooden cab. These 12.2 have shocked us. The clarity on the live setting it the perfect starting point for eq. Qsc all the way.

Product Review I am so pleased with AMS and their products. I've had these a couple of days now and have already done two parties with these and the response is overwhelming, ppl really love the sound they put out but, most importantly they ROCK. Wish I had been got some but I do now, Extreme sound Lows and Highs didnt even hook up my subs, I Love them thanks American Musical Supply for rock now pay later It's goin down.......

Product Review So I currently use one of theses as a keyboard amp with a small mixer I keep in the book bag. Best decision I’ve ever made! It’s SO LOUD when you need it to be. I’ve never seen this thing peak it’s clear and lightweight I brought it with the tote to keep it from getting all dinged up on the go it’s the perfect piece of gear to use for keyboardist. I no longer find my self not being able to compete with everyone else in the band. Btw while this product is plenty loud directly into it your going to get more out of it with a mixer! GOOD LUCK

Product Review Really like the this speaker. Has great sound for a 12" speaker. I will need to get subs for large events but these should serve well at most events. Pur these up against my JBL EON 515s and they surpassed my expectations.
