For several years, I’ve been playing Keys and Key Bass in a variety band. I’ve been using a QSC K12.2 for a stage monitor.
After taking a new gig where I’m not playing Key Bass, only Keys, Guitar, and Vocals I bought a QSC K8.2. WOW! It’s perfect for this gig, which has a fairly high stage volume. The K8.2 sounds great, with clear intelligibility in the highs and mids, and plenty of bass for my Hammond Organ sounds!
Don’t assume because this thing only has an 8” woofer that it can’t get the job done… The QSC K8.2 really delivers!

These small but powerful speakers are the BEST! So lightweight and east to move and set up. I'm a mobile DJ and these speakers leave a lot of room in my vehicle and at only 27 pounds easy to use. Now I have both the 8 inch and the 10 inch!

In 40 years of music the only two times Ive had a speaker failure its been the qsc k8.2 and others are posting a similar issue. I just bought these and for no apparent reason one stops producing sound event though the light and display are on etc, even tech support can not help and qsc is not returning calls

This is my 2nd set of QSC's - I have a set of K10's also. They are incredibly roadworthy (200+ shows a year), and the sound out of these things is unbelievable out of a cabinet this small. Plenty of round, fat bottom end and the vocals shine with true concert stage clarity and presence. Worth every penny!

I’ve been using QSC equipment for a while and I truly enjoy the sound quality. The K8’s are my favorite because the size is easy to store away but still provides a superb sound and punch! Who ever said bigger is better is just wrong these speakers absolutely shred. Just buy them you will not be disappointed. Monitors check. Gathering of a few hundred people check. If you are worried about them not having enough bass because they are 8 inches. Don't you are going to buy a sub anyway.

I've been using a pair of the QSC K10's for about a year now. They are the best PA cabinets I've ever owned. Powerful, clear, and ruggedly roadworthy. They're built like tanks. Recently I decided to put together a smaller system and there was never any doubt about which way to go. The QSC K8.2s arrived earlier this week and I've already taken them out to 2 gigs. I was blown away! They are crystal clear and incredibly powerful. Very light and convenient to use. I am more than impressed. If you want clear clean power there isn't anything out there that comes close to the QSCs. Real workhorses with superior sound to anything else out there.

And I'm using these as reference monitors for tracking and playing back loud . I track mostly guitars
And use a variety of amps and sims
These k8 can handle plenty and still sound very smooth .

I've been performing for 45 years and have used many different FOH and monitor systems. To date, QSC is the cleanest speakers I've ever used. We have QSC FOH and tried an in-ear system and I thought it was a good PA system, until we did a gig and they had one QSC K2 8" monitor. My mouth dropped and I told the drummer, "Hide my mouse because I'm going to American Musical and purchase a QSC K2 8!!!"

I have been a mobile dj for about 20 years now, and this is probably the best
Sounding small footprint speaker I have yet used. So far I have only bought one and it has stood up to its own hype this far. It is very light and travels easily. The fullness of range in sound is surprising. I have used this for five gigs in about a month and it has made my packing and travel so much lighter and I can be assured that the sound is spot on. I will be buying a second very soon.
In tight spaces and odd shaped rooms, this is amazing. My whole rig fits on a small tolling cart and is up and running very quickly. I usually cringe at using speakers on stands, but I think maybe even grandma could put one of these up by herself.

QSC is top notch. They may seem pricey, but if you’re shopping for a high Wattage powered speaker, you can’t beat the K series.
2 of these bad boys with 2 subs can easily rock a crowd of 150 if not more. THEY GET LOUD !!
You also Cannot beat the convenient payment option made available by American Musical. You won’t regret it, and the customer service is amazing and waiting for your call.

I bought these speakers as a solution for a number of applications--amplification for voice and keys in my studio, portable amplification of voice and keys in any number of small to medium-sized venues, and amateur DJ work for a variety of events. These speakers are simple to operate, offer clear and crisp audio reproduction, are plenty loud enough for anything I'll ever need, and are small enough for me to carry wherever I need to go (I got the set of two speakers with carrying bags). They sound great for vocals, my keys, and recorded music in any format. These speakers are worth every penny!

Used a pair of 8" K8.2 to spin in a local barbershop seating about 40 in about 2500 sq ft. on speaker stands. Surprisingly filled the room with high quality sound. Got plenty of compliments on the sound quality and look. Got another gig too. Great speakers. Will be expanding with QSC for sure.

This is my 2nd time buying QSC K series speakers. Bought the 2 sets K1s with sub about 6 or 7 years ago and worked them hard, at least 200+ times a year, with a full 6 piece band in all kinds of out door Florida weather conditions. I used one set for front of house and the other for side fill monitors. From the moment I open the box and checked the mic I was in audio heaven.. The K 2s are No exception the clarity and fullness is crazy good. I highly recommend these speakers for anyone serious about sounding their best!!!!!!

speaker. The K series is always a great addition or starter speaker. As a DJ, I use these for ceremonies and their wide dispersion cover a lot of space. I love these and they will not disappoint. They also come with a 6 year warranty. Great speakers.

I have been a DJ since 1984. I have had all types of speakers ( powered and passive). I always remember how heavy my speakers were and how I always had to hire extra people to help with the transport of those heavy speaker. Now QSC has made it possible for me to transport my own speakers. They are lightweight but the sound is heavyweight! The sound is powerful yet perfect. 2000 watts, wow! They are very beautiful speakers and very professional looking. Folks will think it won’t be loud enough when they first see them, then, whoa! Such a powerful sounding little beauty. Now I can manage my equipment alone! Thank you QSC!
