These subs are amazing! Every musicians nightmare is have to carry equipment, and these having wheels makes it so much easier to transport. Not to mention, they aren't as heavy as they look! Also, the small rubber stands on the bottom are a good idea, the vibrations from the subs don't make them move as much (helpful for readjusting). In terms of sound quality, they're the best speakers I've ever owned. I now get complaints because "it's too loud." My music sounds clearer, crispier, and I don't get much (if any) feedback. The screw in pole extensions are great as well. The speaker covers w/ the pouch is quite helpful, I can keep my cords separated and not stuffed in a bag. After nearly 4 months of having them, I'm quite pleased with the product.

I must say that I am amazed about how much a sub can enhance your sound. Not just any sub, but this QSC KW181 is amazing for the boom. Also, for the price you pay for this sub, it will make the money back for you if you charge to do a setup. QSC makes get speakers, so it’s only right to pair it with a amazing sub. And it’s 1000 Watts continuous power!!!!!

Great subwoofer, excellent sound quality. The bass is clean, easy to setup, easy to control the bass with a knob on the back. QSC offers a 6-year warranty on this unit, so that is great as well. Overall, you will see the value well worth it for the KW181. Also has 4 wheels on the sub to move it around with ease versus lifting or rolling it on a dolley which is a huge plus for us mobile DJs.

Awesome sound. They are plenty loud enough with clear sound in the lower frequencies (I play a 5 string-B string was crystal clear).
I have the 153's for tops. Combined with the 181's, enough sound for a medium sized gig outdoors (500 people).

QSC sub has quality sound and it’s OUTSTANDING!!! I’ve got a lot of feed back from customers stating how great the sound quality is. I use 2 QSC K-12 with the sub. I like the clarity of the sound and the thumping from the bass that my QCS system has to offer. Power speakers and subs is a great convenience and easy to setup for mobile events. Weight about 65lbs so it’s not to heavy for me to handle and load into my truck by myself.

I got the chance to listen to a lot of sub-woofers out loud at a store that sells them and this sub-woofer has the cleanest bass. Some subs may bang harder and louder, but this one is simply clean. Clean sound is what I was interested in and this one performed very well.

This is an excellent power sub for mobile DJ's and small bands. Very portable, can fit in mini van or suv. I bought it as a open box.
The only drawback is that I did not get the poles and power cable. I had to call when my speakers arrived and the customer service guy took care of it right away.

As an upgrade or an add on, this powered sub is clean and precise with plenty of power. The construction is solid and functional (built in casters), and comes with a threaded pole for a PA mount. You get what you pay for, so if you like problems, and poor quality, this product is not for you. On the other hand if you like performance and quality, and backed by a solid warranty, then this is the Sub that will get you to the next level. Cant wait to get another one!!! Thanks AMS!

Use the QSC K Series (12's and subs) for most weddings and events. While they are more than enough with a crowd of up to 250, I wanted to add some 18" boom for even larger parties. Adding the KW181 gives me plenty up to 500+ people. Will likely add another, and a couple of KW153's for events over 750 guests, and it will all still fit in my Astro even with lights and other gear. The casters are a back saver, and the covers are a must!

I just bought it but yes so far solid! I'm not too fond of the castors though and the pole that came with it makes no sense.
the weight and the size its small and light and the deep function is pretty cool. I would use better caster and use a adjustable speaker pole

Built to last ! Very dependable ! I bought the covers for my pair !
The compact size is designed around the truck pack foot print size meaning that 3 abreast fits in my six foot wide trailer and configures well with my truck pack size utility trunks !! I would add just the m10 brackets so I could fly them from my truss !All plug & play makes them awesome !
Just plug and play !! Dont get any easier then that ! I use my KW 153 pair on top of them and they are a great complement together !
