Very sturdy and well built, and very quiet. Simple to set up too. I use it to split my signal so I can add my PC based guitar synth to my signal for certain parts of songs etc. Only minor drawback is it is a bit heavy. Highly recommend this if you are looking for an ABY for dual amps etc.

This pedal quietly switches between my two amps. It can also be used to run two guitars into the same amp and switch between them. I've had no issues with noise or grounding. I'm very pleased with this piece of equipment.

I was looking for an ABY switch pedal in order for me to play Rocksmith through my Spark amp so that I would be able to hear my guitar without turning the song down in the game. I was considering another brand but then came across the Big Shot and decided on it mainly due to the price being about $50 less than the other brand. The Big Shot also features a ground lift switch that the other brand didn't have, this features reduces the amount of feed back received when having both A&B amps on. Hooked the pedal to my Spark, PS4 and guitar and everything worked just as hoped it would. I've had this for about 3 weeks now and glad I chose the Big Shot by Radial.

I love Radial engineering in general but this is the best passive dual amp switcher I've ever owned. Noise free, solid construction, great features with the ISO mode and ground lift and polarity switches to get everything quietly in Phase...For $99 this unit blows the rest away hands down worth every penny.

This is the ultimate pedal form any channel switcher. Not only will this allow you to run more then one amp but allows you change polarity eliminates unwanted hum. Also comes with a send for your guitar tuner. If you're looking for the best in channel switching at an affordable price look no further then the radial aby big shot.

I play Rocksmith using my Boss Katana Artist. Unfortunately, if I apply any sort of gain to the amp, I would experience a loud, uncontrollable hum. However, once I ran both the outputs from the amp and the Xbox to the pedal, and activated the ground lift switch...NO more hum!!! I'm very happy with this pedal!!!

I bought this to switch my Firebird between a Fender Blues Deluxe and a Peavey Heritage VTX (as an experiment for gigs), both tube driven but completely different sounds. When I first plugged it in, the B channel had so much buzzing I almost sent it back...but then I tried a novel approach: I read the instruction manual. Duh. Works perfectly. No noticeable difference in sound when using this box or going direct into the amp. It is well built, metal body, heavy duty switches, and does exactly what it is supposed to do (read the instructions first...haha ) I'd buy another in a heartbeat. The only downside? Now I have to carry two amps to gigs so I can use the ABY switch and get great sounds from both amps and give a little something extra to the gigs... but the Peavey weighs almost 100 lbs....in the words of Bugs Bunny: Ewwww I'm dyin' again (hey, I'm almost 60, give me a break) Great product, great price, great AMS service as always.

Excellent value on a well-built product. I bought mine to run two amps.
Take time to read the entire manual before you use it. Very informative. Not only explains what each feature does but even explains why the issues that the ground lift, polarity, and ISO switches occur.
The earlier reviews suggesting LED indicators would be a nice addition refer to the older version. This current version has LED indicators. The power supply is not included but it is a non-issue if you are using the BigShot ABY with the Both switch engaged as I do. If you are using it on a pedalboard and switch between output A and output B, and your pedalboard has a power supply you do not need a separate power source.
This is my first Radial product purchase and I am well pleased. Highly recommended.

This product is well built inside and out. It performs exactly as advertised. The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars was because it does not have LED indicators for the output selection. I knew this prior to purchase but it would have been a useful feature. I am designing a modification to add the LEDs and after that it will definitely qualify as a 5 star product for me.

Running 2 amps one dirty, one clean. Both amps have various pedals in front of them. Works like it should, cheaper alternative than others, quiet operation. Only downside is no lights for channels.

I needed an AB box to switch between channels on my 68 Fender twin. I tried a a Motley but it cracked, popped and eas noisy. I returned it and got the Bigshot and it did what I asked without letting me know it was there. Didnt color my tone at all. The lack of an indicator light isnt an issue since I can tell what channel Im on by the sound. Small but built like a brick. Used it at church was able to focus on worship and not on is this thing gonna work. It works!!

Lack of LED lights can be a drag. May purchase the powered ABY with LED lights version by RE.
Does not effect tone.
Gets rid of ground noise only.
