Product Rating Product Review I needed an amp pedal on my board so I wouldn't need to lug a heavy amp to every gig. I play a Cole Clark guitar that is equipped with their piezo system as well as their Humbucker pick up for electric. This pedal works great with the electric as well as the acoustic outputs of my guitar. I highly recommend.

Product Review This is a DI box that provides a clean amp tone so you can run your pedals directly into the PA. It works exactly as advertised and it's a great option if you get all your gain from pedals and just need a basic/clean amp tone. In that capacity it sounds exactly like an amp and much better than any digital modeling I've tried. But obviously if you need a lot of different amp sounds or amp gain this is not for you. I use this with a Friedman BE OD, a carl Martin Plexitone and a few other high quality gain pedals and the results are excellent. Perfect solution for gigs where you can't have any stage volume or fly gigs where you can't haul an amp.

Product Review This product does what it says it does. I bought it because I run sound for a small trio that needs low stage volume. It sounds like an amp.

Product Review It works perfectly for practicing and learning songs. When using it live (XLR out to board) with my Fender Deluxe (no mike) is time consuming. When I get pedals and amp sounding good the XLR out doesn’t sound like the amp and pedals through the PA. Extra time spent tweaking the board EQ IS A MUST and some with the pedals to get them close. Next time I’ll try Ming the amp and use the XLR out from the box.

Awesome solution when using an amp on stage is impractical.

Product Review There are a lot of venues where using an amp on stage is impractical or not allowed this is like having two amps and an emulated cabinet at your disposal. Withoit this thing, my pedalboard sounded pretty bad but now it sounds awesome going directly to the house. It also solves the problem of no DI on the Marshall when I am able to use my amp on stage. Pick u one of these. Your pedals will thank you for it.

Lots of Tonal Potential

Product Review I went on a short run for one leg of a tour for a local musician. I was asked to consider plugging directly into the PA for my sound. I decided on the JDX Direct Drive because of the multiple options on voicing that I hoped would give me the flexibility to find the tone closest to my regular amp set up. What I found was that it was usable for the most part but not very inspiring to play through. That was until one night on tour we had a sound engineer that actually took the time to tweak settings and EQ on the PA channel. In the end, he was able to dial up a tone that really made a difference. So the moral of the story is that if you decide to use the JDX as an alternative to playing through an mic'ed amp, I recommend you speak to the sound engineer and work together to EQ the sound to the acoustics of the room. It can have a difference that will impact and inspire your playing.

Product Review Had my reservations about this, but it performed flawlessly. A bit upsetting when I consider the time and money I've spent modifying my amps. Out front in the mix it sounds like me. No real perceivable difference. If you want to go direct using your pedals, this is it.
