This is really cool and an innovative piece of equipment. I have all kind of cables with xlr/3.5mm connections as well as 1/4" to 3.5mm. This is perfect sending to FOH mixer in live or studio applications from a tablet or smartphone as well. The option of xlr and 1/4" outputs is great as well as ground lift and pad switch. I sent and shared with my bandmates. Digging it!

I’ve used Radial direct boxes since 2007 and they have always sounded amazing. This box is great for DJ’s and keyboard players who use their laptop as an audio source or whatever. The pad is so useful and the fact that the 1/8 inch input is hardwired to the unit is so convenient.

I now own 3-4 of these wonderful bastards. Great for corp. or personal gigs. Even use them to mono sum certain synths and drum machines, depending on the application. Built sturdy from cabling to frame and always ready to do the job. Will def buy again.

Radial Does It Yet Again

Your general opinion of this product.
My band uses a laptop/mobile mp3 player for click tracks as well as synth tracks. With a basic "insert" cable, there is usually an audible hum whenever the play back device is plugged in. This completely solves any of those issues, and having the built in 3.5mm tip cable makes everything much nicer during clean up.
It's built to last and withstand abuse as a Radial product usually is.
It's a direct box, what more is there to it?
The -10db pad and ground lift are great options.
As clear as the day the tracks were made in the studio. No loss of signal like when using a cheap "insert" cable.
