The Randall Diavlo RD1H is a great sounding amp with plenty of gain. Takes pedals really good through the effects loop. 1 watt is perfect for practice, but I am considering upgrading to the 20 watt. The RD1H is a perfect match with the RG8 mini cab, too.

If you want a no frills straight up great metal sounding practice amp this is the one. Not a gigging amp but its great for bedroom or studio jamming. I bought this before I bought the Diavlo RD20 and paired it with the RD112 Cab. Doesn't have the best clean sound but it was made for just jamming. Now I have the RD1, RD20, and two RD112 cabs. The effects loop on this little amp makes it even better. Sturdy build, great looks. Thanks AMS!

This is a great amp, especially for someone who is living in an apartment like me. It is a 1 trick amp but it does that trick very well, i run this throug a vintage 30 1x12 cab and it sounds great, metal for days. The direct out on this sounds amazing going straight into the interface. I highly recommend this amp
