An absolute beast of an amp. Love it! Great Ruby tubes, a wall of metal mayhem. Highly recommended.

This amp is so LOUD and has awesome PUNCH! A great price as well! I am only having to play it on 2 with a full band and our drummer hit's HARD! Well worth the price too! Highly recommend it! Also, have 2 1x12 Randall cabs with vintage 30s . I had an evh mini stack and this one just kills it! For a few hundred less.

Product Review
This is a very versatile amp with plenty of power, the clean is very clean, almost Fender, the distortion is all Randall. I run it through a 2x12 with Classic 30s and get any tone I want. The service form AMS was great and shipping was fast. Great amp for the money.

Product Review
Ok, my first one had either a bad set of tubes or really screwed up pots. AMS customer service was fantastic and is having another shipped right away. I was thinking of going with another brand like EVH or even a Friedman Pink Taco. I went to a local music store and sure enough they had this amp to try out. HOLY MOLY. This amp hits hard and over its price range. Ive owned quite a few Mesa heads, Laneys, Digital Modeler rigs and this is my fav voiced amp so far. The clean is amazing. If you have a coil tap or single coil guitar, it sounds even better. Like a high end Fender style clean. The dirt channel is hell. Its as brown as a Friedman and has that aggressive Randall snarl. Very throaty. I hear the famous Mike Fortin had his hand on the design and you sure as hell can hear it.
I would feel safe recording a album with these tones, playing live, everything. For 650, good luck finding a better amp for hard rock and metal. And yes, you can do just about every other genre.

This amp sounds great. It took a few hours of playing before it really came alive. Make sure you are using a quality cab to play through also.

Your general opinion of this product.
This thing rocks, but for some reason the emulated out isn't working properly for silent recording. I've tried it with standby on and off. It gets a signal to my interface, but it isn't a good one and doesn't kill the main speaker output like it is supposed to. I'll give Randall a call to see if I'm using a proper XLR cable, then I may have to return the amp to AMS for a replacement.
Not sure yet. The amp has problems right out of the gate, but it may turn out to be a dependable one if I can get one that functions properly to begin with. It does seem well made considering. These are still relatively new on the market, so they may have a few bugs yet. Regardless, I would still recommend this amp to anyone looking for sheer brutality. Just make sure the place of purchase has a good return policy.
This thing is heavy, and built like a tank. The channels switch properly, and none of the control knobs are scratchy.
This amp is brutal. The cleans are extremely clean with tons of headroom. The overdrive channel is seriously metal with tons of gain on tap. The boost function seems to be nearly as good as a tube screamer. This thing is plenty loud too. More than enough for live venues.
Responsive and articulate.
Looks wicked with the metal grill and red glowing LEDs and tubes.
Just got it, co I'm not sure how well it will hold up. If I can get one that doesn't have issues, I suspect it will handle about anything thrown at it.
