Needed a second RG8 speaker to run a stereo split for my mini amps (DSL1 and Joyos). It's been said before - with these Randall speakers you get a huge sound from small bedroom gear. And two is better than one! )

I wasn't expecting what came out of this cabinet. So I bought 2 of them and it's better than the mini Marshall stack I had as a kid. I bought a Soldano SLO mini and this rocks good enough to keep up with a drummer. Don't hesitate getting one or two!

This little Randall 35 watt mini cab is a beast with the Orange Micro Dark. It's like they were made for each other. Forget about the Orange mini and get this Randall instead. Plenty loud enough. Sounds massive with 7 string guitars, too.

The Randall RG8 is compact, light weight, sturdy, and sounds great! Got it for a great price at American Musical Supply. Powerful enough for rehearsing and gigging. I use mine with a Traynor Quarterhorse Microamp. Every guitarist needs one of these cabinets among his or her gear.

This is the biggest bang for you buck if you want a compact cab for many applications. The construction is rock solid. It sounds BIG for it’s size and it handles power well. The RG8 is a great companion for small heads, like the mini Hotone series and many other sub $300 heads that are in the market these days. It’s nice to have as a backup speaker, for troubleshooting and to get something different from a combo amp. For under $100, I couldn’t be more pleased.

The RG8 is part of my space-saving practice rig that puts out great sound at wife-approved volumes.
It sounds great at low volume, but as others noted, turn it up and this little speaker sounds bigger than it is. Are you going to push air like a 12"? Of course not, but that's not what this is for. The cab is just slightly wider than the Blackstar HT1 I have on top of it. The speaker jack is recessed and angled up which means you can push this fully enclosed cab closer to a wall. It's perfect for home/apartment use.

I wanted something i could play at home so i didn't have to lug my 4x12 cab back and forth from the practice spot. I play it very quietly through a 5150 mark3 50 watt head. I would say it sounds good for practicing, which is exactly what I wanted it for.

I have it paired up with an Epiphone Valve Jr head. Sounds much bigger than the price tag would make you believe it would. Easily compares to the Orange 1 x 8 at almost half the cost...I am not disappointed!!!

Bought this to pair with my Orange Micro Terror and Micro Dark. I did a lot of research before buying this and I had high expectations based on what i read and heard. I am actually blown away by the quality and sound of this. These little amps can get pretty loud and this cab takes it and can be pushed even more. It has a surprisingly round full sound, doesn’t get fizzy when the gain is cranked. I definitively recommend this, especially if pairing with one of those little Orange Micros. They sound great running through it and they fit perfectly on top.

I needed a cabinet to use at church for my guitar that did not take up a lot of space and I saw the listing for this cabinet and figured that I would try it. I was amazed that it sounded so good. I would not use it if I needed to play loud, but for my current requirements it is perfect. I had order two, but they are now longer being produced. I searched around and found a second one that must have been a return at another dealer so that I could have a second one.
