I run a karaoke show and occasionally DJ and just upgraded from my EV ZLX 15 P speakers to the RCF EVOX J8 active array speakers and the difference is absolutely amazing.I also have the JBL EON 615's and the difference is also very evident.Although I went from a 15 woofer to a 12 inch you definitely wouldn't realize it because being in a sub enclosure definitely makes it hit harder.I would definitely recommend a pair of these and am beyond happy I got a pair.

I bought a pair of these to replace my failing IP2000's and I have zero regrets. These are perfect for the 4 piece rock band I am in the play small and medium clubs.
Throw em on stage behind everyone and you have mains and monitors. Reduces the amount of gear needed to bring for a show.
I have always trusted the RCF name and I'm super happy I chose these.

I've done an outdoor gig with 400 people twice, several weddings with over 200 people, and several weddings in a large venue. Best tips; the knob on the back is an attenuator, not a volume control. Turn it up all the way and control the volume from your mixer. If you want to save a lot of setup/tear down time, keep your poles and cables assembled and but a hard shell rifle case at Walmart for $17 to keep them in.

Perfect addition to my wedding and cocktail setup I got them in white for my clean setup. Great sound Rcf style I say because each brand has their own unique sound. Tight bass not overpowering crisp mid/high mix doesn’t scream but gets loud. I would say 100/150 people comfortably.

I hooked these speakers up right away when they arrived. I do both DJ work and am a solo musician. Many times I’m using a smaller column pa speaker for solo work, but for bigger events these will be exactly what I need. Great bass, clear highs. Lots of volume. Super easy to set up too. As an older guy, I appreciate not having lift up 15” mains over my head and hope I centered it on the pole. These are easy to put on. The sub cabinet is plastic but solid and heavy. Highly recommend!

Ever since I bought these speakers I have received compliment after compliment about how they look and how they sound. I bought these in white and had expectations of good sound but little did I know that people were looking at my speakers. Imagine my surprise when the very first wedding I did the complimented me on the setup I had with the pristine white speakers that I had just purchased from American Musical. I could not be happier with my investment. I bought my speakers on the payplan and the ease of setup and approval was as usual a breeze and certainly useful for djs like me who take pride in my setup and like to spread my payments instead of buying outright. Works for me and I know these will work for you

This is simply amazing! As a mobile DJ who does small parties, Dance Parties for a large corporation’s internal fun and large venue weddings, it is amazing!! With its compact size that fits inside itself when storing, to how you can tune and set it up, adjustable height top speaker array, and above all, the white looks great with the white setup for parties I use from Max Design! So happy with these! Have used from 50 person to 700 person strong so far (though it depends on venue size), they sound amazing! And get the covers!

If you want lightweight with POWER, the J8 is the speaker unit for you. I'm a big RCF fan & supporter but frankly, I had my doubts. If you are used to spinning at private home parties/events, look no further. A PAIR will easily have the ability to accommodate 100 guests. Nuff said !

I bought 2 of these and I love how compact and easy it is to transport my set up. I have a SUV and a coupe and I cam easily put them in my backseat of the coupe and be fine. The sound is freaking amazing and most of my venues I've used them in have been inside and only need 1 because he sound it that powerful. I love that the speaker has a in built in space to lock into the subwoofer so you'll never forget it. Overall 2 thumb's up!!!

The area that the EVOX 9 can cover with a full perfect compliment of EQ of any song.
I've never owned a small (Speaker Package ONE SMALL SPEAKER) that can can out perform a full range cabinet with a subwoofer until now. I couldn't believe how a pair of the RCF EVOX J8 covered a crowd of 200 people with thump and crisp sound from the stage to the back of the room with ease. These are now called my Little Super System!
The fact that I can get 2 of these in my small car is a winner
There is nothing I dislike about these speakers
I've had these speakers for about 2 moths and used them about 21 events
The RCF EVOX J8's have blown away my expectations!

I've had the Evox J8 & the Evox Jmix 8 for almost a year now and they are the best audio purchase I've ever made. They are light enough for me to carry alone (I'm Older). Handles a medium venue with ease (Up to 300 people) really fills a room with sound!!! If you want to go bigger just add a subwoofer and you will bring down the house!!!

I've had the Bose L1 Model 1 with B2 bass module for about 5 years now. I was ready to upgrade and my FOH guys for our full band use RCF stuff and swear by it. Theirs always sounds top notch. I figured I would give this a try. Easier to set up than even the Bose. This unit kicks some Bose a$$. The bass response is much better. The satellite unit is cleaner than the Bose. Not as much compression. This is really a great unit and so clean. I use if for our acoustic duo/trio. Two guitars and bass with the trio. It handles everything supremely. I might buy another one for bigger shows but right now, it is more than enough for crowds up to at least 300 so far. Highly recommended. Great stuff.

Used this for an 8 piece R&B Funk
With horns. Certainly not cut out for large outdoor venue it's more than adequate for indoor outdoor medium venues up to 200 people.
Perfectly balanced sub to top.
Vocals and horns crystal clear and although not chest thumping bass you can still feel it at 200 ft.
The best is that I transport this in a Fiat 500L.

These speakers sound great even outside. The bass does dissipate the further away you are from the speakers which is to be expected but still sound great. My recommendation is to get the extra sub to match and you can easily fill a room of 200 people.

Using QSC Gear for many years now without any issues what so ever. Buddy had some EVOx12 and I was blown away by them. Alittle too expensive for me so I went with the EVOx J8 and all I can say is “WOW!” The Deep Setting on the Amp with the 12” sub has a great knock and punch I’m looking for and the highs are nice and clear. Haven’t used them at a gig yet but can’t wait till this Pandemic is over and I will definitely take these with me to my future gigs!!!

I'm a wedding DJ, and I bought a pair of these to upgrade my sound at weddings that typically have 75- 250 people. I chose the white version, because they blend in well with my white truss covers and white DJ facade. I own Bose L1 Model II and TurboSound ip2000 systems as well. The Evox J8 system has much noticeably louder output- both top end and bass. Another feature that I like is that I can angle the top speaker housing in any direction that I prefer, without having to move the bass cabinet. This is something that I can't do with My Bose or TurboSound systems.

I'm a DJ and I've had this Evox J8 system for 5 months now and used it more than 10 times for small functions (70 - 100 PEOPLE) including weddings. It's superior to any powered system I've owned before including my QSC's. The coverage was more than adequate, it delivers a balanced sound and remains very easy on the ears at high volumes. The clarity however, is what stands out the most, the sound is realistic especially when you listen to someone making a speech, the various drums, cymbals and tambourines in recorded music. It has been a conversation piece each time I play and I'm going to purchase the Evox 12 as soon as I can afford it.

I've been a sound engineer for nearly 3 decades so I'm a snob when it comes to gear. Our band is now fully electronic, no sound onstage except for our vocals. That affords us the luxury of downsizing our rig as there's no sound to compete with. Bought a pair of these and have done 2 decent size bars with zero issues and had a little headroom to spare. Was worried about the low end, but it was tight and punchy.

The RCF Evox J8 is a powerhouse portable sound system. The famous RCF speaker qualit is in full force here with a budget friendly powerful sound system. One is plenty for small gigs or karaoke sessions and two enough for medium sized gigs of several hundred people. The 12" sub is quite large for a portable column speaker system in this price range and much fuller than the JBL Eon One I previously owned. I use a Behringer XR16 digital mixer with this system and it sounds fantastic!

As a mobile DJ, I was sick of lifting 40+ pounds of speaker into a stand. That and my back isn’t what it used to be. The bottom is a bit heavy, but manageable. The top? EASY lift. Setup is a breeze. I like the pole mount because you can turn the speakers and mount lights as opposed to the other straight stick systems. The sound, in my opinion, is amazing! Cranking these up, crystal clear with punchy bass. The bass from 12” composite cabinet sounds better to me than my Ksubs. It is perfect for my applications of 150-200 people, and the outside throw is quite impressive. These things, and the fact that it’s a sleek design, made the RCF Evox J8 a smart choice for me.

I have two of these and they're perfect in the right application. First off, RCF gear is always top notch, so the sound quality you're looking for is there, its surprisingly loud for such a lightweight system. I use one side for acoustic gigs indoors and both when I need a little extra outside or in a big room. Theres a ton of low end in the subs, dont let the 12" speakers fool you..they put out!...I wouldnt take my chances running kick drums or a full band through them, but for acoustic gigs, or for that matter, mobile DJ's, this rig should set you up!!

I usually DJ two or more events per week. I have used two of these speakers to service events as large as three hundred. And although, they were sufficient, I would not recommend it for that many people. They work best for crowds of 150-200. I get a lot of compliments on the sound and look of the speakers. They do not need to be scrimmed and come with three snap on wire holders to keep the speaker wire snug against the speaker poles. All in all the best speakers I have ever owned!

This system is amazing! The low end really feels the room. Clarity is phenomenal. Set up time is quick and easy works right out of the box. Requires very little EQ. One covers the room very well two soup awesome!

Definitely not worth the price tag it has. I have had other systems far much greater than this for an equal price.
The size is not as compact as I thought it would be and the weight is a little more than some PA systems I have used in the past.

Clarity and coverage with just one set, looking forward to getting another so I can do much larger weddings. Handled a 200 crowd in a hall with no issues. Many compliments and a lot of curious questions on the setup. A few asked if they were made by Bose.

I have owned several different Speaker brands from peavey when I first started out and later to Bose L1 Model 2 with B2 base module , with majority of time using my QSC K12s but I have been Blown away by this line array!! I own two Rcf evox J8’s now ( white) and Decades of Music will be switching to nothing but RCF from here on out!!! With 25years of DJing weddings this is the Best for our receptions , this is the Future!! Absolutely in Love, crystal clear, nothing but clean sound and looks!!

I've been wanting the Evox J8 for some time now. The design is what attracted me. I love the power and portability of this speaker. I used it recently at a house party and OMG the sound was amazing. Plus there was a couple of musicians there and I got thumbs up from them as well. I will be buying a second one very soon. Great product, RCF got it right with this one.

RCF never seems to disappoint. These work great for a quick and great sounding setup. They do not distort and higher volumes. Don't expect the same LF output as with an 18" sub, but they will do nicely for many appplications.

I’m 65 years old and have been lifting speakers from poles to shows for the last 25yrs. My body and back couldn’t take it anymore. I attended a wedding a year ago and saw some speakers similar to the ones I purchased. I bought the speakers on time and I have been in heaven every since.
