Product Review This mixer has more options than I ever thought were possible that any mixer could have. From the multiple sample banks included for the SP-6 player, to the "on the fly" cue/loop functionality, the RANE 62 compliments the strengths of experienced DJs and can potentially supplement the weaknesses of novice DJs. The designers of the RANE 62 successfully incorporated everything that a DJ needs and wants in a 10 inch 2-channel mixer.

The best made mixer to date. Very dependable all around. Very well built physically and all the fader, buttons, knobs can take a beating. Dual USB outs for seamless transitions from DJ to DJ. Built-in on-board FX. Hot cue buttons and sampler triggers. (auto) Loop section. VERY easy to use. Plug in your sources and go! Rane quality sound which is superb and improved over previous models. Your general opinion of this product. Greatest mixer of all time and of the modern age. I personally think it's overpriced, but obviously I made the purchase anyways. it was a good value, but it could have been a great value if the retail price was a bit lower. I'm thinking $1,399 would have been a good price point and start the 61 at $699-799

the feel of the mixer shows the marksmanship put into this product. all the features that you can think of were added on this mixer. The layout made it very simple to figure out the mixer. best sound out-put. readable signals indicate the volume control. Your general opinion of this product. playing on a TTM-57 to the 62 was the best upgrade ever! If you are familiar with Rane product then you will not be disappointed with this product. overall great product! the company has a great call center and the any problems you may encounter they are there for you. will recommend to everyone.

Another great product from Rane Corp!

All Rane products have been made well and I always consider them dependable. Wouldn't use much else for my club nights. There seems to a an improvement on the buttons as there were many complaints of the cue buttons on the Sixty-Eight being to hard or no responsive at times. I personally did not have these problems, but I also like using my Dicers for most of my cues. One really good thing about this, is the built in effects processor. I never was much of a fan of the effects built into Serato and having to be accessed through the laptop...At least to set your parameters anyway. This is very easy to use if you are familiar with some of Rane's other Serato mixers. I own a TTM-57 and a Sixty-Eight...Coming from using a Sixty-Eight, I'm quite familiar with most of the features on this. Tone is great, just different from your Pioneer mixers a lot of people are used to....Rane's tend to be a little more "flat" with the EQ's at 12 O' Clock. They are designed this way. Love the sound! Your general opinion of this product. Rane makes a solid product and their support has always been oustanding. I pre-ordered mine and picked up as soon as it was delivered to the store by UPS. I DJ 3 nights a week at a very large night club and was really excited to get this out to the club. After doing a little research and I found that I needed to upgrade to SL 2.4.0 (disc included in box)however, doing so would not support my Video SL plugin. Serato video is being released this month (March 2012)so I am testing the Beta version of this and seems to be stable from what I can tell. I was a little disappointed, but I understand the issues. Other than that, completely satisfied! As a regularly paid DJ, I say it is worth the money. To a bedroom DJ, it may be a little harder to justify spending the money.
