I do not play any wind/brass instruments traditionally, but, one of my kids started Alto Sax in band class this year, so, I purchased this for her to try. I figured if she didn’t use it much I would add it to my studio for additional creativity when making music. She really likes it, and, it motivated her to explore vaster musical ideas and concepts because of how easy it is to use, and, how versatile it is. You can take it anywhere. Play through the speaker built in, or, through the app in your phone, which is a full-on synth with no latency at all. Absolutely amazing!!

I got this to do late night sax practice - and while it's more like a soprano sax size for fingering, it let's me practice scales and such late at night without waking the neighbors.

Purchased this for my daughter with 4 years of experience on clarinet & sax. Breath control & mouthpiece were adjustments. Has a digital feel but natural controls work well. The extended app is good & adds versatility & aids the learning process well. The internal speaker leaves a lot to be desired but amplified, the sound are good & promote creativity for sure. Another overall win for Roland. Buy an amp.

This thing is fatalistic. I think purple give it a bad name because they don't know how to use it. If properly connected, it's amazing. Makes me play better on all of my saxes. Hopefully this hero's anyone looking to buy. Get the adapter to avoid clipping or delay.

I'm a keyboard player. I seen the Aerophone in passing videos until one day decided to watch one in detail. I've always loved horn sections. So once again AMS made it easy to acquire one. If not for AMS and the easy payment options I wouldn't have half the equipment I have in my studio. The Aerophone is awesome. Not all the tones are on par but most are. What makes it also great is how you can bring in more sounds from the web. Roland just keeps doing it.

The aerophone is very responsive and even though there isn’t many instruments built into the aerophone GO you can get more through the app. My favorite thing to do is use it to play other synths on the iPad Pro or external sound modules. Another nice thins I love is the fact that I can practice with head phones on even if it is 2am in the morning and everyone is a sleep. I could never do this with my tenor! Love the aerophone. Thanks American musical for setting me up with it.

I have never played an instrument.I was unsure if it was even possible with such a high grade instrument. To my excitement it is so comfortable to play and once I watched a few videos. I'm amazed at what it can do and very excited about learning this AMAZING INSTRUMENT????

I currently own the AE10 with is the big brother to the AE05. I purchased the AE05 for my 11 yr old who actually plays sax for his school. He absolutely loves it, and plays daily. Top of his class. ALL THANKS TO AMS.
