Product Rating Product Review This is the sound in my head I've been looking for, I've had blackstar ht5, bass breaker 15, fender blues Jr and gtx 100.I was playing the blues cube vs the fender tonemaster the blues cube is the one I settled on. With the built in boost channel, It has more gain available than the tonemaster and honestly just sounded better to my ears because of something in the mid frequencies. It feels and sounds like a tube amp. Harmonic Breakup, spongey when cranked and that natural compression is all in here. I'm primarily a bedroom player so the power attenuator is perfect for me. It sounds exactly the same just not ear piercing loud. There is something so pleasing in the mids to me and it sound so full to be the size that it is.The onboard reverb is good but I wish it was a spring reverb. My only complaint is no effects loop. I find myself playing more just because of this amp. American musical got it to me in 2 days and I haven't looked back since. If you're looking for that vintage fender sound this is it!

Product Review Very happy with this amp. I have most types of electric guitars (SG, Silver Sky, Tele, Strat, Gretsch, etc), and they all sound fantastic through this amp. Living in an apartment, I love being able to dial down the wattage without sacrificing tone. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a versatile amp.

Product Review Really like this amp, if you can’t handle a quality tube because of volume or want a little more options built in this is a solid buy. It’s from Roland so you know it’s good to go.

Product Review I'm disappointed. I could have bought another blues Jr. But reviews said it was good. I don't think so...

Product Review 30 watts of power in a light compact amp. I was tired of lugging my larger amps to gigs and this amp with its line out is all I need now.

Tube tone with a solid state amp

Product Review It captures tube tone and response and has a vintage look. It was easy to adjust the master volume and volume and tone controls to get a full, clear, balanced and non-distorted tone from each of my guitars with different types of pickups including a floating humbucker, P-90s, built-in humbuckers and a DeArmond 1100. I'm surprised that this solid state replicates the tone and feel of a tube amp. I play jazz and use it as a practice amp at home but it's designed for blues players looking for the distortion it is capable of by adjusting the power attenuator. Either way, it's a good value.
