Pretty simple, just a pedal, but I like it better than the stock little box pedal that came with my Roland Stage piano. Doesn't scoot much, or at least not like that little box did. Felt like I was playing Quija with my foot!

I replaced all my sustain pedals for all my keyboards with this. By gar the best design. the flip-up rubber footing is best design for preventing the "creeping pedal syndrome" on any surface. And this pedal.is built solid. I've gone through other pedals. These last and are travel worthy. Only drawback is you have to open the unit to change polarity. Woild have been nice to have a switch. most keyboards allow you to change polarity in global settings, but some do not and you need to change it inside the pedal in order for it to sustain when pressed.

The Roland DP-10 is a GREAT Sustain pedal.
Great weight and doesn’t need a lot of anchoring to keep in place. I’ve always been particularly critical of build-quality and this pedal seems up to the task of dealing with my large and heavy foot constantly riding it!

Roland's best electronic piano pedal. Gets the job done regardless of the brand of keyboard you use.
These will no doubt last a long time. It's the 2nd one I've purchased from AMS in a year, but I also have Roland's previous iteration DP-6 from about 23 years ago and it STILL WORKS!
Highly recommended.

Good pedal - works as well as it should. It doesn’t have a polarity switch, but if your keyboard is a Roland it has the option of switching the polarity in the menus this works great.

This is a beautiful pedal, very well-made and super smooth. But a word of warning: it is NOT compatible with the Pearl EM1 MalletStation controller. The reason, according to another EM1 user, is that it is "a continuous controller pedal without a switchable polarity." You need a standard switched sustain pedal with a switchable or normally open polarity. Hope this helps someone to avoid the same mistake I did!

Ruggedly built, and made to withstand the abusive and dirty feet of keyboardists. This pedal will be here long after I am gone... the best part of this pedal, as echoed by other reviewers, is that it actually feels like a dampening pedal from a piano.

I have used Yamaha and third party sustain pedals on all my keys before. This Roland pedal has the most real piano feel for dampening.The rubber strip prevents skidding and accidental movement of the pedal while playing. Well made and built for longevity.

I've been using versions of this Roland sustain pedal on stage and at home for about 25 years, and none has EVER worn out or failed. The pressure is nice and firm, the cord never wears out, and the flip-around foot rest is indispensable.
