I bought this mostly to use as a midi controller but I've enjoyed the sounds in the keyboard so much that I've barely used my DAW! Rhe loops are awesome as well making it easy to make music for someone with little to no experience. I would ?? recommend this again and I'm ALWAYS happy with the great service AMS gives!

I like almost everything about it, I use it stand alone play and as midi controller to enter info into my DAW, but why oh why isn't there a music stand? there is a slot for one but nothing .. that's all I have I still recommend for people wanting a decent sounding cheaper synthesizer . oh and 1 more thing the loop mix mode to me is lame but to each his own.

I love this keyboard! It’s very easy to set up and start using right away. It has many different instrument sounds to choose from and also can transpose. I like how easy it is to travel with and setup. It’s nice that it also can be used as Bluetooth speakers. I highly recommend this keyboard.

I am so glad I was able to get this great keyboard with the payment plan, that Allowed me to get my dream instrument, thank you so much AMS, I already knew this piece and was amazed with all the features as synth conf, and Bluetooth MIDI, and speakers building in, and the capacity to use batteries for hours, also use the speakers as Bluetooth and How light weight it is. I am definitely satisfied with the fast delivery and all process. It is the best Cost benefit key you will find. Super recommend

The USB output jack broke loose inside this keyboard while unplugging a cord---after just a handful of plugs/unplugs. The loose jack inside the keyboard then caused the main board to malfunction.
Roland's customer service department refuses to honor the warranty and has determined that the damage done to the keyboard is not a result of defects in materials and/or workmanship. Customer service states that "with this unit being almost a year old, the cause of the damage was due to normal wear and tear."
A company cannot have a 1-year warranty covering parts for defects in materials and/or workmanship and then claim that said parts should typically break in less than 1 year following prescribed use.
Buyer beware! This is a cheap product, and, from my experience, Roland will attempt to breach their warranty agreement to avoid paying for repairs.

I think this is the best lightest keyboard with full-sized keys, onboard speakers, touch-sensitive buttons, 500 Quality sounds. The Record mode allows unlimited overdubbing from all categories (piano, organ, strings, brass, drum, bass, synth, fx/guitar). The sounds are really professionally mixed and they sound good together. Only using it for small rigs and practices. Make sure you have a decent pair of monitors, keyboard amplifier, or headphones to appreciate the real quality of the keyboard sounds if not it will sound like a child´s toy. You can use it with batteries and has a Bluetooth connection, the Roland sounds are exceptional at this price point. Cons: There isn´t a split mode.
This is a great keyboard, Excellent value for the money!

I needed a new keyboard as the one I had been using had its lcd display go dark. So, I didn't have a lot of money to spend so I used the 8 pay on AMS to get this.
So the keys feel good and feel semi-weighted and not just light touch like many synths. The other benefit is that the sounds are pretty good and are the same as some of the higher priced Roland products. Using a sustain pedal with this makes it work well. It is lightweight and the size makes it easy to transport.
As for drawbacks, the output is 3.5mm instead of 1/4". I don't like that and it seems to be a bit touchy with the 3.5mm to 1/4" cord I got to be able to send to an amp and recording mixer. It also doesn't have the ability to split the sounds to either half of the keyboard.
So, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for gigging due to the output jack but it will do if you need something inexpensive to get you by and lightweight. It also can run on 6 AA batteries if power is not available and you can run with its internal speakers.

When quarantine happened I began thinking of hobbies I always wanted to pick up so I began research on a decent (and age appropriate) keyboard. Not only is the design sleek, but it is so easy to learn on. I’m still a beginner of course 6 months later but I would recommend this keyboard to anyone wanting to pick up another instrument skill.

I originally got the Go:Piano version of this keyboard but wanted some additional sounds so went for this Go:Keys version, and am very happy I did. It has many voices to play with, including piano and organ sounds. It's perfect for those times when I don't want to fire up my big keyboard setup. It has a mini jack output which can connect to headphones or an amp for additional usability. The quality of sounds are pretty good, especially for the price. The keyboard action is about what you would expect from a keyboard in this price range. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

I have had this for a couple months now (thanks to AMS' awesome payment plan) and, straight out of the box, this keyboard is legit! It more than met my expectations and needs. The sounds are incredible, the touch (keys slightly weighted feeling) is fantastic and it's SUPER lightweight. For a touring musician or even just a home studio (or even a child learning to play) I would 100% recommend this keyboard. I am over the moon about it. It will be on every album I make moving forward.

With signature Roland quality sounds along with touch pad ,looping and recording features,this fun packed,music maker offers bluetooth capability amongst it's many features. I was looking for something different for a portable camping type keyboard. Decided to give the Go keys a try.
It has a ton of features that are a lot of fun to play with. Track building, play along type of stuff but, what impressed me was that it has usable key patches. I love the electric piano and it has a killer horn patch.
The action is solid and expressive....so instead of just having an easy camping rig I use it as an emergency backup to my computer driven performance rig.
If it had midi out it would get 5 stars

I am a professional musician, and I bought this to have something that I could drag to a friend's house, or take on vacation, so I wouldn't have to worry about more expensive gear. What I found was that this thing can totally hang on a pro gig. It's got all the bread and butter sounds you could need, and they all sound great. I have used this on some duo and trio gigs, and it holds its own! The EP's, acoustic pianos, and organs are top-notch, I just wish there was more control over the rotary effect, but for $300 or so dollars, I'm not complaining!

I highly recommend this keyboard. I’ve been a traveling musician for over 25 years and after so many years the heavy equipment becomes a bit much. I was in market for a small board with decent piano and electric piano sounds hat was lightweight. The Go-Keys gave me exactly what I was looking for at around 8lbs. The Bluetooth features are great for rehearsing with tracks. It’s all good from my end.

Been using it daily for six months. Great for the money and still working perfectly. Only con that I can see is the touch pad for pitch/tremolo. It doesn't respond the way a wheel would and it can be difficult to bend notes to exactly where you want them

If you're looking for a fun, but incredibly easy keyboard, maybe one to learn on, this is a great choice. Sounds are good, but the loops are crazy good. I wanted something more, so will buy the Korg PA600 instead. The Roland Go Keys are a good buy for the money.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect because I had never used a Roland before but this model is well built and it comes with lots of different features, different settings, recording and Bluetooth capability. Since financing this item, I’ve told everyone I can about American Musical supply because I also had never bought anything with this company but I’m very pleased and I will continue to purchase from the company and I will continue to refer people to the company.

For the price, the sounds are great as you would expect from Roland. It's made mostly for certain specific functions but also works well for practice and is full of surprises if you really dig into the depths. I like it most because it's simple and straight forward. Not a workstation, but fares well for original material if you're creative.
