I wanted a clean but reasonably powered amp. In typical Roland fashion, they delivered! Don't let the size fool you. This is a sweet amp! Great chorus and reverb. If you want to make distort you better get a pedal cause it's all about clean and I love it. Worth every penny.

Amp sounds amazing, truly the king of clean tone. Takes pedals well, ive ran a couple of overdrives and some fuzzes thru it and mever any complaints. Perfect size for practice at home, use mine in a studio apartment and have never had any issues with volume.

I got this amp for studio purposes and to record stereo guitar tracks, first off awesome clean tone plus with the stereo chorus and reverb you can create great lush sounds straight out of the box! I play an American strat and the clean tone of this amp really shines but also handle overdrive and distortion quite welll. The volume is a lot more than I expected and fills a room and cuts through a mix easy in the studio and on stage! Love this amp could not be happier!!!

Awesome Cleans and Awesome Chorus

Product Review
I enjoy a good chorus effect, so the Jazz Chorus has been on my list for a good while. At around twice the cost of a Boss CE-2W, the JC22 seemed reasonable for a whole amp. I am loving this amp. The chorus is amazing. When I don’t want chorus, I set the speed and depth knobs just below 9 o’clock. It takes away most of the chorus, yet it adds to the lushness of the cleans. It has some heft and seems to have the build of a tank. I struggled with the choice between the JC22 and JC40. The JC22 sounds great at lower volume and has more than enough power.

I had long been after the distinctive Roland JC sound, but the sheer size of a JC 120 in the confines of a small home studio where space is at a premium didn’t make sense. I came across the JC 22 while browsing the AMS website, and decided to give it a try. I didn’t expect too much to be honest, given the size, but man does this thing sound big and loud, just like it’s big brothers! It’s packed with features like the famous Roland stereo chorus, reverb line out, effects loop, and jacks for an optional footswitch. All in all a super little amp that exceeds expectations.

Very well built. It's like someone took some sort of shrink ray to a JC-120. It's small (that's good for me) but it has the Jazz Chorus sound. I have no complaints. It's Great!

Excellent amp. Very clean, not just for jazz but with a tube screamer it sounds fantastic. The chorus effect is great it adds a feeling of a large venue in a small space.

Product Review
I have always wanted a Roland Jazz Chorus ever since Alex Lifeson of Rush exemplified using one on the album " Permanent Waves" in 1980. When I found out that there was a 22 watt version, I had to pull the trigger on one. AMS wasted no time in getting mine to me in excellent condition, and with a payment plan that fit my budget.
