I have 3 total pianos; Korg Kronos, a Yamaha MX88, and now this Roland JUNO DS88.
It came nicely packaged and right out of the box I started playing and instantly fell in love!
The Keys felt great to the touch, nice and dynamic. The sounds of the keyboard were just as great and constantly gave me inspiration for new songs ideas!! I’m an intermediate piano player and I couldn’t be any happier with this piano!
This piano is something I would definitely recommend for any singer/songwriter as it’s very versatile!

It handles everything! Digital Piano with weighted keys; vocoder with harmony; drum machine; T-Pain style Auto Tune; Synthesizer; Midi and DAW Controller; and it's an actual audio interface! No need to bring a board or Audiobox it'll run the audio through the board and the sound will come directly out amp for the keyboard! It also allows arpeggiation and transposition of the midi pluggin virtual instrument! The latency is equivalent to the onboard sounds and can be layered with them! It allows for expansion adding up to 500 more patches! With the correct configuration of a thumb drive, you can carry all available expansions with you (only one can be instantiated at a time).

Oh my this keyboard is a privilege to play and own. My son for so long begged me to buy one because he wanted specific 80’s sounds to wrap up his solo project -this was the ticket! Way more than I bargained for, sounds seem endless with free expansions from Roland. I’ve been a motif guy for years and loved their straight piano sounds (always will) but man I’m having a blast with these piano sounds...they don’t disappoint. Also it really does have great action too, feels great to the touch. No reason to not buy from AMS, super fast shipping too????

This has some of the best feeling keys I’ve ever played, very realistic. It comes with great sounds and has a lot of built in effects. There’s a good bit of menu diving but once you get used to it it’s not too bad. Could use some more knobs and sliders but other than that it’s an amazing synthesizer.

Packed with big boy features at an awesome price point. Used Yamaha for years until they started costing me more than I was making from the board. The Roland switch is a breath of fresh air. Plays well, handles well, quick live response. AMS shipped on time, damage free and with all the docs securely in the box. Highly recommend both AMS as well as the Roland. See ya onstage!

This is the nicest keyboard I have ever had. The keyboard action is so realistic to an acoustic piano and so many patches of pianos. The sound is incredibly realistic, and cuts through the mix very well.
I was worried that it would be hard to use as I'm not a computer geek. But the keyboard is very easy to understand. To anyone looking for a great and awesome keyboard this is it. As always thank you to America Music Supply, your still the best.

This thing is a beast, built like a tank, yet elegant and intuitive.
The sounds are amazing, compared to my original Juno. Sequencing is quick and easy. The weighted keys feel real and natural. My daughter is using this for her piano lessons as well. The teacher was also impressed about the feel and sound quality. A bargain price for all the features.

Fantastic mid-level instrument. A tad disappointed that the price dropped $200 just a month after I purchased it, however I'm pleased with the quality of voices and the ability to layer upon layer. It makes practice a lot more pleasurable, and really fills in those dead-spots in the music!

So I had a Roland Juno D several years ago. I wound up selling it for various personal reasons. I’ve wanted to replace it ever since. Finally, I convinced myself that a full sized Juno DS88 was the correct item to take its place. I received this item approximately 8 months ago. I have used it in many different settings from performing to recording since that time. From the accurate instrument voicings, to the satisfying weight of the individual keys, the Roland Juno DS88 never disappoints! Please bear in mind, this isn’t your average review where I just received the product a few days ago and haven’t Had time with it. On the contrary, it’s over a half a year later. For the price I paid and the function the keyboard provides, this is the correct choice for those who are serious about their artistry, as well as the hobbiest who just wants to fill their space with the authentic sound of a grand piano. Either way, you can’t go wrong with this Roland product!

I was very pleased with the assortment of instruments and the responsiveness of the weighted keys. Lights on the sample pads are a bit annoying. Bender is very responsive. A lot to learn in this full size keyboard. Keyboard splitting is also very nice. I would have liked to see a more jazz friendly array of rhythms. Well worth the money.
