Product Review
Small & light, battery powered when needed, it's perfect for busking, practice, recording and acoustic-based jamming. I just received mine, plugged in and was TRULY GLAD that I bought it. I had been using the Micro Cube - which I also love - and got this one because it's stereo, more powerful and still maintains that crystal clear Roland sound, which I like for my acoustic. It's called a "keyboard" amp, but it works GREAT for both acoustic and jazz guitar. Being a Roland product, my expectations were high. I was not disappointed - this little box fills the bill!

Product Review
I moved on from my trusty micro cube to this monster and was pleasantly surprised. I packs a huge punch in a small package, and it is stereo! The batteries last around six hours under normal conditions. The battery box is a little clunky to removed and reinstall. I wish Roland offered a rechargeable battery pack option. The included A/C adapter works fine, but like a laptop computer the transformer is external, so it is not just a cord that you plug in. It is a cord that plugs into the wall, then into the power adapter, and then into the amp.
All in all, it is a great amp, that I am sure will last years to come. It is very well build with a solid feel.

Purchased for those quick small venue gigs and practice. Sound is excellent plus it can be used as a hot spot monitor as it has stereo outs that you can send to the house PA. Recommend for acoustic guitar also.

For the past few years, I used a small $99 keyboard amp for rehearsals and sometimes performing. Although it got the job done, at times I felt I needed to upgrade for a bigger quality/sound. The KC220 by Roland delivers professional sound along with the best price.

Crystal clear sound. Plug and play. Attractive. Perfect compact size but not so small that you lose sound quality. Light. Equalizer and effects. 3 inputs. Glad I purchased. Can’t always listen in headphones. Game changer.

All the features stick out. This is the 1st ever battery powered keyboard amplifier i have ever seen and also to own. I love everything about it....especially the battery-powered feature added to it. No dislikes. I had it about 2 weeks. It went BEYOND meeting my expectations....from the multiple output jacks to the control knobs on the top of the amplifier. I defiknitely recommend the Roland KC220 battery powered keyboard amplifier to everyone that is serious about purchasing a reliable keyboard amplifier. I will return to get another Roland KC220 keyboard amplifier in the near future..

Great Sounding Amp

Product Review
Portable amps can lack in power and sound; this one does not.
Unlike a guitar amp this amp beautifully covers the whole spectrum of frequencies while being loud enough to perform a small-group professional gig without a PA system.
I use it because of the aux input has it's own gain/volume knob; if your playing backing tracks through it, like I do, you'll never have a problem making sure the gain is sufficient.
You can also run an xlr to your wireless set-up and run effects through that as well, as I do, making this a butt-kicking speaker for any wind instrumentalist, although its technically a keyboard amp.
I was thinking to use a portable Boise consumer grade speaker, about $350, but those are not powerful enough to play professional gigs.

Product Review
I needed a smaller amp for gigs in smaller settings instead of lugging my Berringer I use for bigger venues. PERFECT! Great for small room gigs, and smaller settings. I am impressed! The sound is comparable to some of the more powerful amps in its genre, but by far, capable of handling needs for practice or smaller gigs!

Product Review
I purchased this amp mostly practice but I was immediately impressed with the quality and clarity of the sounds from my keyboard. It fits into a small space, and would also be a great amp for a small gig. Although, I would most likely go with a KC600 for gigging. For now, it is perfect for what I am using it for.

Good Quality Sound with portability. Will work perfect as a stage monitor since you can use the main outputs to connect to the main mixer.
