Seems to me like the rebound dynamics of the PDX-12 are not as close to the real feel of a snare drum as the PDX-8 is and I have played it with lugs loose and tight but I still cannot get the great feel of a real snare drum with the PDX-12 as I can get with the PDX-8 .Its still a real nice pad don't get me wrong but my personal advice would be not to spend your money on this new pad . The PDX-8 has a different mesh material and the rebound is just better and feels more close to a real snare"

After 30 years of performing and recording, I know what a snare drum should do and perform when played. This pad checks all the boxes and delivers all the nuances and ghost notes that i very much desire. Don't hesitate picking up one for yourself. You will not be disappointed I guarantee it.

Great product ,I think a little on the pricey side ,but I’ve played a lot of e-drums though the years and I think Roland does a great job.
