Product Rating Product Review What can I say? This thing is stellar. It expands upon the classic SH-01 format by adding four note polyphony and chord sequencing. The sliders are tiny and I have large hands but it hasn’t presented as much of an issue as you might think. Build quality feels pretty solid, got a nice weight to it for it’s size. Sounds is great, occasionally you will know it’s not the original playing with it solo and as it’s ACB rather than analog circuitry it loses some of the thick bottom end of the original but it still sounds quite close to my ears and the added features are more than worth the trade-off. Overall I would absolutely recommend this synthesizer.

Product Review The SH is just like the other boutiques…AWESOME and just as good if not better than the original. Vintage synths are ok but the cost, size and reliability are factors to consider. I actually sold off my JD-800, Juno-60 and SH-101 after I got the boutiques. They allow the sane performance in a smaller footprint and are consistent without the worry of old gear crapping out.

Product Review Absolutely phenomenal synth. The update to the LFO allows for some insane modulation. Great for dusty pads. Warbly leads. Massive bass. Fantastic all arounder for someone looking at synths. As always AMS services were fantastic.

Product Review I love the sound but it's lacking some key features that would make this a steal. Limiting to 4 voices was a mistake and the workflow leaves a lot to be desired. Still a great little synth for the price!

Product Review So, having owned an original SH-101, sold it and regretted it ever since, this little guy has made me a happy camper again. All of the features of the original, none of the tuning quirks, and 4 note polyphony also? How could anyone complain? Sounds like the original unit, with good quality faders, if just a little small and short on the throw, you can get used to it and with presets, you can tweak AND save. Buy one before supplies dry up.
