Before purchasing the set I was hesitant, but after playing on it for a few weeks I knew my decision was correct. If you live in a small space or a building with noise restrictions, this is the perfect set. I haven't received any complaints since hooking it up.

Everything came as ordered amd super fast. The Roland TD 11KV is an amazing set to practice. Great sound and the TD 11 has many options from warm up to different sound settings. I wish it came with the kick pedal.

This Roland TD11K V-Compact is a good Electronic Drum Set. I said Good not Great. This is my second Roland Set. First was a TD-6 from 2003 for about the same price. The pads and the rack are better but I don't care for the head or the brains as much as TD-6. TD-6 had much more factory installed songs, sounds, goofy instruments and percussion. But was not expandable as the new TD-11 with a USB Port which makes this head hugely expandable!!

I got this set for under $800 after years of waiting for the price to drop, I did add a nicer mesh snare and move the one the set came with into the floor Tom position. This set is really solid and I love how compact it is.

My first thought of electronic drums sometime ago was that they would not deliver the sound that you would expect from an acoustic kit, but after purchasing the Roland TD-11K, I was easily swayed by the kits performance. I love the response time and the velocity sensing tech in it. I love how you literately tune the sounds to your liking, to a point where it truly sounds like an acoustic kit. You can have higher or lower sounding toms, snares, kick drums, and cymbals! It’s a great investment! Even if you don’t like the Bolin sounds you can easily hook it up to your computer via USB and use it as a midi controller for instruments on your DAW. If you don’t believe me:

It's worth what you pay for without doubt. I admire the TD15 Roland different, cause to assigning each pad individually presets different pad station sounds. But the recording station and contacts sound fine.

I've had this kit for a few months now and can honestly say that I really love it. As someone just getting into drumming, this kit was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy, if not quick, to set-up and has held up well so far with many hours of use. I'm pretty confident in it's durability at this point. The drums are always in tune and the cymbals sound great. Everything is super adjustable and holds well with the provided hardware. My advice to anyone considering these is to get a high quality kick drum pedal and a good monitor or amp.

The td 11 is a very sturdy kit.
The rack is amazing! It is very easy to set up and holds the pads very well.
The best feature about the TD 11 to me is the ability to fine tune every tone in this kit! It is sooo awesome to be able to take a crash and turn it into a splash or take a deep snare and turn it into a picalo snare.
The tones are off tha chain!!!!! when you hit the toms you can hear the resonance of the head and shells... that is soooo awesome!
Your general opinion of this product.
The TD 11 IS A 5 STARE PRODUCT! IT IS A MUST HAVE FOR LIVE AND STUDIO DRUMMERS... OR EVEN FOR SOMEONE JUST STARTING TO PLAY THE DRUMS..
