Been away from the drums for many years. Work, family, cost, etc etc. I knew Roland was the top name in the digital drum world and at 53 years of age I have jumped back in with both feet! The TD25KV has not disappointed me at all. I was worried about the feel of the set since all I ever played was acoustic. Mesh heads are great. Taking me a little longer to get used to the cymbals because you just don’t get the feedback from rubber that you get from metal. But no worries. I love this set and so does my wife and neighbors. Next a big amp and back in the band.

I use this set for practice,rehearsal,live gigs aswell as laying drum tracks I dont know what it is you need or looking for in a electric set but here we have a winner sounds are so real response action is on point no delay honestly feel as if I'm playing on an real acoustic set minus the real cymbals but for electric it has everything you need and if you want to add sounds you can and extra triggers to it I'm glade I made this choice and cant wait to see what more roland has coming.

Excellent quality of materials and perfect execution of features. The only gripe: can not assigned sound to outer rim of pads even though they’re dual triggers.
Beyond that AMS is stellar with their customer service and was willing to price match even at at loss. Their payment plan puts people’s dreams within reach.

If you’re considering buying this kit, just stop what you’re doing and buy it! I spent forever trying to figure out which model I would get to replace my old electronic set. I wish I would have bought this sooner! The heads are so reactive, the module is top-notch, and the sounds are so realistic. Just take a shot and get this kit. I love it so much

This is my second TD-25 kv! I had one before and got an alesis strike pro that I wasn’t happy with! I love this kit! And American Musical took good care of me as always! Friendly and helpful staff! And fast delivery!! I would and will recommend Roland and American musical supply any day of the week and twice on Sunday!!

Bought this to do some recording and to bone up on my chops. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality and how easy it was to set up. I could take this kit and gig with it. As long as you have a quality PA you can play this kit at any level. The mesh heads are very responsive and the bounce feels like real acoustic heads. The kick pad is big enough to accommodate two kick beaters and the kick triggers track extremely accurately. Would highly recommend!

I now live in an apartment and acoustic drums are out of the question. I’ll admit at first I was skeptical only observing a demonstration on you tube but once I received my drums and played with my band mates I was blown away. Not only do they replicate the maple shells I have to the tee there very user friendly. It is quite easy to adjust the levels of each piece to my liking. The only thing that took a little getting used to is the hi hat.
You have to change your foot technique to achieve the sweep but you can. Back in 2000 I used a set (different manufacturer) to record an album but the cymbals were horrible and we used only the drums and real steal cymbals. Not the case with these Roland cymbals their sweet and my band approves. I’ve been playing drums for almost 50 years and there is nothing like playing well tuned acoustic drums, however acoustic drums are a constant battle to keep them sounding good. With my new drums I save time and can get right to recording

I love my new Roland TD25KV set. The feel of the drums and the sounds exceeded my high expectations. The ability to practice and play in any setting along with and to lay down drum tracks with ease makes the investment worth every penny.

First, let me say my band has had this kit for 2-years now. We love it for small gigs when we need to control sound and want big drums. Also... it has been out to around 30 gigs and no problems at all! I just bought another set for my studio to use for recording drums via MIDI into ProTools and then fire samples. Works perfectly and saves a ton of time on drum editing when recording demos. The kit was easy to set-up and easy to config to work with the correct MIDI notes in the drum software. All said, this kit is a great value for the $$.

With a flip of a switch, I am greeted with the Roland Logo, a few seconds later, I am off to drumming fantasy land. Secure with noise-canceling headphones, the beat in my head translates effortlessly to my Roland TD25KV. I have always prided myself in bent a physical drum person, acoustic only. I used to chuckle to myself when people indicated that electronic drums have come far. To my surprise, this is no longer a laughing matter. Roland's brand of an electronic drum is as versatile as it is functional. From the TD25's ability to produce customer kits to its connectivity with drum software such as Superior Drummer 3, I have stumbled upon a complete solution that works for me. While I will still play the acoustic set when the desire arises, I find myself quite satisfied with what the TD25 kit provides. If you are looking for a nice intro to the electronic drum world, the Roland TD25KV is easily worth the investment.

I never thought, as a drummer, I would feel as comfortable behind an electronic kits as I do behind the Roland TD25KV. The playability of the pads. The response of the module. Even the sounds are great. Right out of the box this kit is ready to impress. I have played many electronic kits and even built a few and this Roland is hands down the best. For half the price of the TD30 you get all you need and more! Buy one you won't regret it!
