I've had this cart for about 4 months. The cart is very flexible and the wheels roll easily on just about anything even grass. The only issue I have is the wire latch that you must use to expand the stand.
This process is very inconsistent sometimes you have to pull hard and other times not so hard. I would preferred a latch or button.

On my first gig use I realized I had made a great decision to purchase the Rock n Roller cart. The transport of a large amount of equipment with ease was efficient, time saving and a back safer. I’m a one man sound company. The fewer trips back and forth to load in and load out are giving me more time to pay attention to my gear and my craft. I can now load my RocknRoller 4 wheeler and actually roll it directly into my van without off loading everything. Just a couple of ratchet straps and a load bar, I’m ready to roll. I have the R10RT for at least about 7 years and I decided to get a tiny bit smaller and lighter cart so I decided to Purchase the R8RT and I did Purchase the R8RT about a month ago and this is an awesome transformer cart which will help any DJ's or Sound Engineers to transport their equipment(s) with ease, every DJ and Sound Engineers Should own one of this cart model. This cart can be used for so many different things and its very versatile and compact. Additionally, I would like to say, your back will thank you for owning either one of these carts.
Overall, this is a great product but the only reason I gave it one star less is because, the one I had gotten had a tiny crookedness in the middle bar of the bed but seems to be working ok but never know if it will break or not, using it in time will tell.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an awesome versatile transformer cart that can do a lot and carry up to 500 lbs from R6RT models and up.

You know so many times I have shown up for my gigs and there is only the front door, and the stage is way in the back. Nobody around to help move a stack, stands and the rest of the gear. Damn! So, again my friends at AMS helped me find what I needed,,,, this transformer cart I call it, lol. Never seen a cart that can be used for so many different things, believe me it can! I moved a marshall 1960 4x12 down a staircase with ease, and back up with the 10" wheels on this baby! Now, I don't always carry the 1960 to a gig, but when I go I only have to make one trip in, everything fits on the cart and it rolls smoothly from the car to the front door.

I have been Djing for about 15 years. I should hve gotten this years ago! The convience and time saveing os amazing. Great durubility. Easy to set up. The instructions had me like WTF, but an easy Youtube search set me in the right direction. I was able to load all of my gear in one trip. (2 15” tops, 2 18 inch Subs my DDJSZ2 (In a case of course) and some other boxes. A must have for any serious DJ! #RockNRollerMulitiCart

Put this baby together in about 10 minutes and it was ready to haul 2 DXR15s and 1 DXS15 sub with no problem across grass. I really had doubts about the smaller wheels working, but it rolled like a charm. I will buy one of the larger models as soon as I see how this one holds out over time.

I mainly use these to move music equipment with two of the units set up as a rolling rack for a portable speaker array for outdoor shows.Put two of these together side by side or end to end with some flooring material on top and you can move complete drum kits if needed.I have lent my R n R Roller Multi- Carts out to my associates with many of them now buying their own units.Depending on what size is needed you can't go wrong moving music gear,furniture,or anything up 500lbs with these.

Good size cart for 73 key keyboard placed on end, amp, bag of equipment, stand, seat, etc.
Well make in general, however some metal angle iron pieces that hold the sides upright are slightly off centered. Could be result of really poor shipping condition, box was torn up and re-taped.
You do have to put wheels on, and cotter pins to assemble, after that very easy to understand.
Seems solid, will make 2-3 trips into one.

Not only will this cut down on trips back and forth, but it can make the trip(s) easy as pushing a cart. Don't forget to allot space for this with the rest of your gear in the vehicle.
Well-constructed. Not only has it held up to hauling around heavy musical gear, but I've also used it when moving into a new home (it held up just fine filled rail-to-rail with boxes of books).
Obviously works best on hard flat surfaces, but the large wheel of the R10 allows this to travel in bumpy terrain, like across a field (just keep it out of the sand).The side rail releasing mechanism seems to be the weak point of the design in that they are a little inconvenient to have to reach all the way down to pull/push the low-tech cable.
The expandability of the cart makes it easy to find just the right length to snugly hold the equipment you are hauling. The "step-helper" is nice for getting over a bump/step or two, but I've found it doesn't travel well on an actual staircase. Realistically the vast majority of the time I've only used it as a two-sided cart, not as a flat platform or a hand truck... but it's nice to know the options are there.

All terrain no flat tires are critical for most musicians since we seldom have the luxury of moving on a smooth surface. We are hired help. We must lug equipment through back alleys, gravel roads, mud puddles, and dirt paths. you name it we hall through it. Narrow hard casters are only good on smooth surfaces.
Very easy to set up and expand for moving small to large loads.
I don't say as many groaning tones as I used to.

I am a 70 year old solo musician and this cart was just what I needed to get all my equipment from my truck to the stage in one trip. It holds 2 Mackie 15" Thumps, 1 Peavy Twin 12" amp, two speaker stands, a laptop, effect pedals, a music/computer stand and bag with assorted extension cords and cables. It is easy to pull with one hand while I am carrying my guitar in the free hand. The only change I would make is to have some foam or carpet on the rails for a softer ride for my gear. I don't think I would put the rated 500 lbs. on it and expect it to last too long. The square tubing is a light gauge steel. Realistically; 300lbs. I can not see using it as a hand-truck without damaging the side uprite (Besides there really is no good place to grab it like a hand-truck, and the front wheels would hitting you.)
Not too heavy, Folds up small. I substituted two hitch pins for the two cotter pins on the front caster clevis pins. Now I can remove the front casters quickly for flat storage in my trunk. (this will only work on the 12R since the casters attach differently) You can't buy a 8R or 10R and upgrade to the larger casters.
Easy to push and steer. I really like using this as a flat truck. Goes up and down curbs and over uneven surfaces well. Should go over dirt and grass with no problem as long as it's dry and not mud. No problem over carpet.
Very quiet. They'll never hear you coming!

BUILT LIKE A TRUCK AND IT FITS A TON OF GEAR!
FIRST OFF I HAVE RECENTLY HAD EXTENSIVE ABDOMINAL SURGERY AND HAD TO HAVE ALL THE MUSCLES IN MY STOMACH CUT,TO LOAD AND UNLOAD I'VE HAD TO DEPEND ON OTHERS AT THEIR CONVENIENCE.THIS CART IS GREAT I'M ABLE TO LOAD MYSELF AND IT'S CUT MY LOAD UP AND TIME LESS THAN HALF.IT GOES DOWN STAIRS RELATIVELY EASY AND IS REALLY EASY TO MANEUVER AND FOLDS COMPACT.I'VE JUST STARTED DOING A SOLO ACT SO BEING ABLE TO LOAD QUICKLY BY MYSELF IS OF A GREAT ADVANTAGE TO ME.I'VE USED IT TWICE SO FAR ONCE FOR A ROCK SHOW WITH MY BAND AND ONE SOLO SHOW AND IT'S SUPER EASY TO USE.THE SKIDS TO GO DOWN STAIRS ARE A GREAT FEATURE FOR MY LOAD OUTS FROM THE HOUSE,IF I HAD TO ADD SOMETHING,IF THE FRONT ARM ADJUSTED TO A 45 DECREE ANGLE IT WOULD HELP PULLING IT UP STAIRS.
SIMPLE,SIMPLE,SIMPLE IF YOU CAN SET UP YOUR MIC.STAND YOU CAN SET THIS UP!
IT DEFINATELY TAKES THE STRESS OUT OF SET UPS SO YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU DO.LESS STRESS BETTER TONE!

The multi-cart is very well made and dependable.
The R2RT Multi-Cart is fantastic - lightweight and very portable.
This is my second cart - I love it so much, I want to make sure to have another "just in case". I use it all the time. I am not a musician, but a teacher that visits other schools so I have a lot of items to bring with me. It's easy to unfold and use and takes up very little space. It's a definite back saver for me!
