Mixed with other HHX and sounds great. Has a darker sound than the evolution series but fits in very well. Very distinct sound when recorded and has a good separated sound in the mix. Made from very good metals and will last for a long time I believe, doesn't need to be hit hard to have the full sound, a lot of dynamic in this cymbal.

For a 17” crash it has consistent given me the sound & clarity i look for in a cymbal. Washy, trashy sound that cuts through everything. I LOVE IT!
