Product Review i like this mic. Its clear and true to sound. meaning it doesn't make your voice sound different like some mics at this price range do. i gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have that studio mic look to it that I'm going for. I been looking at that black rode nt1 mic

Product Review I use this Mic for recording Vocals in my studio, and this has got to be one of the best kept secrets on the market. It sounds like a lot of very expensive mics at a fraction of the cost.

Your general opinion of this product. Thank God for this microphones!!!i own the seven piece set for recording Drums, and it includes 2 of this mics. and they are just great. i use this particular ones for vocals as well. Thank God cause i'm a Christian musician and don't make money with my music. Yes, Very dependable Easy as hooking it up, and go. Very well made. Better than a 300 dlls. one i bought just a few years, and is not working anymore

It is durable and well structured. It would be possibly better with it being powered by usb, but I actually enjoy the phantom power going into my digidesign. Very easy to use. Just need to hook it up with phantom power source. I use mine with my digidesign. The tone is beautiful. Very even. The sound is well distributed and works wonders for me.

This product is made well. We use it in our home studio, never a glich. The mic came with a couple of attachments for different mounting. The mic case is very nice to have too. The mic is very easy to use, plug n play. The sound is good. The value is good. good, good, good.

Your general opinion of this product. A review of this mic in Home Recording magazine alerted me to it's excellent recording properties... I figured for the price, it was worth trying. The CO1 far exceeded my espectations delivering a warm, rich sound on vocals that compares (favorably) with My Rode NT1...It doesn't have a rolloff switch and the shock mount is 30 bucks extra, but this is a helluva mic...Built like a tank unlike many of the new crop of cheap Large Condensor Mics (like the MXL)Has a much more robust sound than I would expect at this price...Buy TWO!

Warmer than competition, but sizzles too.

Your general opinion of this product. I got this mic partly because it has a little more warmth in the bottom end than some of the other cheap LD condensors - the sound at the store *seemed* close to a nice AT 40xx-series that was outside my budget. The only critical use I've made of it so far was for a high female vocal and surprisingly it came through a bit sibilant but I gather that's a frequent issue with condensors & female vocals. If I'd had a bit more time I might have been better off working more with the off-axis sound or proximity. But I'm pretty pleased with the pair I got and I have a feeling that between the warmth and the sizzle they might do well as drum overheads. Or they might over-emphasize cymbals...

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
I used this mic with Magix Studio Pro through a Studio Projects pre and a Mackie going into my computer. Seems to be well-made. Good solid feel. Nice hard case comes with the mic; however, the quality of sound leaves much to be desired. More on this later.

FEATURES:
Not a lot of features. It does have a little light that glows for the 48v phantom power. No switches for recording patterns, but then again, this thing is less than $100.

EASE OF USE:
Seems like a mic would be easy to use, right? Well, what happened with me is this: I would find a nice "sweet spot" to mic my acoustic guitar. I would turn and punch record and start playing. I would listen to the playback and it would sound pretty nice. Then I would turn back around and try to do some overdubs. Well, because I would not have the mic placed EXACTLY where it was before, it would sound different. A lot different. I mean, to the naked eye it would be exact

A Great Studio Mic for a great Price.

Your general opinion of this product.

I first purchased this unit because of the price and my budget, but I did not use the microphne at first, I used another brand.

I tested the microphone one time on a recording and now my quartet is having to rerecord a CD that we were putting out.

Needless to say, I am very surprised by the quality as compared to the price. The mic performs as well as mics that are 2 and 3 times it's price.
