Product Review I got these to use with video sound gear. The Lewitt LCT 040 I was using are great mics but ate up the 9V battery the preamp supplied phantom power. These Samson C02 use 1/2 the power at 3.5mA each and sound a bit better for recording bands on stage. Work great with Zoom field recorders as extra mics.

Product Review These lightweight small condencers worked perfectly fine for capturing the different sections of a men's choir in a very reverberant church. I was delighted with the results.

Product Review They have a good weight to them. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. The price is fair. I used these mics to record acoustic guitar and I’m impressed with the sound. The one thing I’ve noticed compared to warm audio mics is these mics are not as bright. If you are planning to get an all natural guitar sound you will have to do some eqing. But if you are looking for an inexpensive mic and you are on a limited budget these are perfect for you.

Product Review I bought these as an addition to my drum mic set up. I use them primarily for miking hi hats. They get a killer sound on the hi hats. I’m sure they’re fine for lots of applications. Plus, the price is decent for a good quality pair of mics.

Product Review For the price, you really cannot beat the Samson C02. I very happily bought a pair for myself after using a friend's pair for overhead drum mics. I've used cheap mics before, and the C02 does not sound cheap! Bonus points for coming with a hardshell case. Why do more expensive mics come with a soft case?

Your general opinion of this product. Well built and sounds great. Sturdy construction and came in a case that provides good protection. Easy to use..plug and play. Price, durability, case. Admittedly I am not an audiphile and I am still in the intermediate level of recording but I am a firm believer that ability and skill is just as strong of an asset as the equipment you use. So if you know what you are doing then you can get good sound from moderately priced gear. These mics are definitely for those on a budget and are not going to have the tone as the higher priced more well known condensers obviously but that being said you can get some pretty great sounds out of them when used in the right context.

Nicely made product, doesn't seem cheap or flimsy at all. These have a very nice pickup, great for picking up groups of cymbals per side of the kit. Very simple to set up, although the stereo bar is difficult to tighten and keep set. This is the biggest surprise for me. It picks up ride cymbals and hi-hats FANTASTIC! When I upgrade to an interface with more inputs, I am also upgrading my overhead mics, but these will be my dedicated ride and hi hat mics. I've never heard anything like it, and the price makes it that much better. For sound samples of these as overheads, search for "Sean Hart" on Sounclick.com

Good Quality, well made, nice fit & finish with quality cartridge. includes windscreens & case. no switch to go bad or have someone turn off. Using as choir mikes easy to balance, has nice overall tone, full sound without too much E.Q. adjustment. Works great on string instruments as well.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
They are very well made. Looks even better than my Shure SM57 (the industry standard)

FEATURES:
REally good! has every thing I need.

EASE OF USE:
Very easy to use. They can be used in recording or in a live sutiation.

VALUE:
These mics are definitely worth the price paid. If something happened to them I would re-buy them.

SOUND:
These mics are perfect for acoustic instruments. They give acoustic guitar a nice bright end. They sound better than my Audio-technica AT811 condenser, and my Shure SM57. However, I don't think they would be very good for vocals.

STYLE:
Anything with acoustic guitar.

MUSIC EXPERIENCE:
Been playing the guitar for years

OVERALL:
I doubt I will be replacing this product any time soon because I do not expect it to wear out. I would not be surprised if it last most of my lifetime! You can't go wrong with these babies for
