I play in an 80s rock tribute band and had been eyeballing this bass for couple of years and pulled the trigger on it 8 months ago. This bass is an absolute tank without feeling clunky. It is my primary bass now and after a very basic setup to my preferences, it has been a workhorse. I love the tapered neck (feels like a Jazz) and the stock pickups are responsive and cut through the mix. It looks great on stage and I get lots of compliments on it.
My only complaint is that it didn't come with at least a gig bag but I purchased a hard case for it. This is a great instrument.

I LOVE the playability of this bass. Had to adjust the neck pup a little but otherwise it’s a perfect bass. Comments from my drummer confirm this should be my go-to for any occasion (and it is)
If you are looking for a P style monster that will blow their socks off, this is it. Get one.
Of course AMS was awesome as well.. fast, secure!

Revived this a day before a gig, took of right from the box and straight to the stage. Had to do no set up other than just tuning. Plays great and sounds excellent, would definitely recommend to others.

I literally took this thing out of the box and straight
onto the stage! The action was perfect and sounded like thunder! Super fast neck! Not one negative thing to say about it! I would recommend this bass all day long!

I have had this bass for two weeks now and it plays great, had to do a little set up when I got it but that’s cause I don’t like factory settings. I use Flatwound strings and like them low. It’s a very loud high output bass. Toggle up and it’s super loud P bass sound, toggle middle and its a little softer using both pick ups but higher tone mix, good when using a lot of chorus and overdrive. Toggle down is wimpy for it is bridge jazz pick up. Which I have turned into a kill switch position for I will never use that position and the other two are super hot when all my effects are on so it is nice to flip down real quick and kill sound. Neck is super thin plays like a jazz. Fair warning: This is a heavy bass. That would probably be my only down on it. Cant comment on sustainability cause again I’m using Flatwound and they are not known for that. Overall great bass, worth 899? Maybe 699 would be better.

Slightly slimmer neck than the Session T that I also have..
I can't complain...
