Product Rating Product Review This thing is pretty loaded. Came set up even coming through the heavy winter storms. The sustainiac is a blast to play with. The neck it a little thicker than an RG Wizard neck, but still very thin and comfortable. Compound radius makes chords near the head really comfortable. All in all the build quality is extremely high. Highly recommended.

Product Review I cannot recommend this guitar enough. I was looking for a guitar that can handle all my performances needs...this one does it, hands down. Love the playability and sounds it can produce. The fit and finish is excellent. I appreciate the attention to detail and selection of woods and materials used. The price is so remarkably affordable for the feature set. AMS shipped it quickly and it arrived packed very well. I am ordering another one today!!! Get this guitar, you won't be disappointed. Product Review I’m amazed. This guitar has crazy specs and detail from the different types of wood in the neck to the perfectly rounded fret ends, you truly are getting what you pay for in every aspect of the guitar. It’s crafted well, plays beautifully, looks amazing, and Schecter did not cheap out on any parts. The nut is sturdy and solid, the Fishman bridge pickup is crisp and clear, but hot like you want from an active pickup, and the combination of the Sustainiac and the Floyd Rose want to make you play forever. It plays iself, and there isn’t one person I wouldn’t recommend this to.

Product Review I got this mainly to play around with the Sustainiac. After I got it home and looked it over real close I was pretty impressed by the quality and playability of the whole instrument.

Product Review I'm personally really surprised how good the Sustainiac pickup sounds when in normal pickup mode. That is a huge surprise, and it's clearly amazing with all kinds of uses beyond just feeding back when engaged with the sustainer. Clean swell effects are gorgeous with delay, sound like strings, and so much more. The light weight and extremely accessible neck make any riffs a breeze. Right out of the box this thing is setup very well. The frets are perfect. This thing screams. And the bridge pickup will surprise you...I haven't tried the Fluence pickups before this. That bridge pickup can thicken up with the pull of the tone knob which changes the voicing to a completely different, and very useful tone, sort of like what you'd expect out of a neck humbucker rather than the bridge. And flipping back and forth is a cinch. One last comment - the neck on this guitar is very stable. I've own EBMM Magesty guitars that were easily a thousand more dollars, and their necks would bend in and out of tune with the slightest pressure on the neck. That is NOT a problem with this Schecter, the neck is as strong as concrete, but the guitar overall is very very light and nimble.

Product Review Darrell Braun, off YouTube, did several comparisons with this series of Schecter Guitars and I was impressed. Before seeing the Schecter guitars, I joined his web-channel. From that viewing, I first purchased a SE PRS. After receiving the guitar, I did not agree with Mr. Braun about it, other than it looks nice. So, I sent it back with the reason why, and I called the company. Another patron bought a SE and the company fixed it with no charge. I didn't get the same treatment. But I saw Darrell's Youtube on Schecter vs. Ibanez and (I love Ibanez), I was sold on that guitar, but I knew that I at least wanted to see it for myself. Well, Darrell Braun was almost "Spot On". The fact is, The "Schecter C1 FR-S SLS Elite" or what I call mine; "California Fire Baby, and (Fire Baby)" for short is "Rockafiably" a very hot looking guitar, and with someone, that can play or plays with fire, it a screamer. Moreover, this baby is packed with everything you need to burn up a city and its airwaves, for days. But it's the night, the passion, and the lights, this Fire Baby wants to ignite your munitions with. Kick in its Boost switch, "Yes", Oh My GOD, Pull the knobbbb. "POW". She can scream the night away, and for ladies, "He will Moan so strong". This is the guitar to buy if you can not afford a PRS original. This is the Lamborghini of guitars. Darrell Braun, I agree with your Youtube on Schecter, but I have to say "It's even better than that"! It's a "YES" Byte me, (WTF) "It's on freaking Fire". I love this guitar. My (Fender Strat and Gibson LP) with EMG's, are now in its category. And I thought Schecter was a third party outfit. they Brought the party. "YES"! They hosted, we came! They are in my TOP THREE Companies to purchase guitars. AMS thank you. Ygurian.

Product Review the first thing I done when I unboxed the guitar was look over every inch of it for any flaws and I can tell you that everything was absolutely perfect! the best guitar I've ever owned. I've had several Les Pauls and Strats and this is the best playing guitar I've ever played. I love the sustainac pickup and the different harmonics you can get. Plays great all the way up to the 24 fret. I've had the guitar for 4 months now and only had to tune it a couple times. I play all types of music and you can put your country hat on and do some serious chickin pickin or crank your amp and bend some notes out of sight. Bottom line if your looking for a great guitar, look no further

Product Review The guitar is the best guitar I have played in a long time. Was strictly Ibanez for a long time and now there’s a brand that cares just as much about quality

Product Review I'm really enjoying playing this guitar and still getting a handle on the tones this can get. Great build quality and playability. This is my first Schecter and I'm very impressed. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a new guitar.

Product Review I think it's very cool and a well made instrument. I've had a hellraiser c-1 fr for a long time and have been really happy with it but I thought it was time for an upgrade and wanted to try a different pickup besides the EMG's. Now I own a sls elite and it's pretty freakin cool. The pickups are way different then emg and I'm loving it. The way they feedback with out the sustainer is cool and emg's don't do that. Really great action too after I set it up for my style. I dropped the bridge about a turn and a quarter and it's freakin low action now. Plays pretty dreamy! There's just a tiny bump in the frets between 14 and 18 and I get a little buzz there on the low E string. I do have 2 complaints however. The crappy strings that were on it absolutely sucked the tone and the high e broke within a minute of playing. The second complaint is the frets are stainless steel but not as smooth as my Parker fly or hellraiser. I'm hoping that time will smooth them or I'll have to use Steel wool.

Product Review Pickups sound great and once I completely resetup the instrument it plays fairly well. There was fret buzz and even after I adjusted the Neck relief, bridge was dropped to the floor and needed to come up. Neck has an ok feel to it but overall I've played better feeling guitars under 200 bucks. All of that could be overlooked imo but the bookmatching on this guitar is horrendous. Neither side matches anywhere on the top. I guess it's a luck of the draw with that but otherwise I'll play it for now and maybe it'll grow on me a little bit.

Product Review Man this thing rocks! It has features that would normally only come with a far more expensive guitar and with the Fischman fluence pup and the sustainer the sonic possibilities are endless, no matter what your style or flavor. The ultra-thin neck and wide flat fingerboard are incredible to play! Buy this guitar and you will never be disappointed!
