I bought the minor blemished guitar. I figured it might have a scratch or something. Turns out it was only missing the tremolo arm. Luckily the trem bar from my Jason Richardson fit! The guitar plays fantastic! The Action was great out of the box! It looks amazing!

The C7 FRS Apocalypse in Red Reign looks and plays like a dream. I absolutely love the swamp ash/maple body and neck combo. I play daily and have been nothing but in awe every time I plug in to play.

this guitar is fantastic, in the general build, quality, looks amazing and sounds amazing. i absolutely love it...except the sustainiac pickup. this is so uncontrollable i cant use it without killing my ears with backfeed. the threeway switch doesnt change anything with the function of the sustain. the other pickup sounds amazing, so i just use that. wish i had just got the version without sustainiac.

This guitar sounds amazing. I put it in drop G# and plugged her in and it didn't disappoint. For a schecter bridge pickup it's pretty damn good. This is my 3rd guitar with a sustainiac and I love the neck pickup! May have to throw in a switch to adjust between single coil and humbucker mode on the sustainiac!
The looks are killer and the feel of the guitar is smooth and nice for me to shred on. All in all it's a beautiful guitar with a lot of amazing features!

As soon as I saw this guitar I knew I absolutely had to have it. Every little detail, from the roman numeral frets, the pickups, to the stainless steel hardware, insure that this is an axe worthy of someone who truly loves to play guitar. I am proud to have this guitar! You can play literally anything on it!

After dealing with a less than stellar example of a KM-7, I was weary about going for another Schecter, but I must say, I'm absolutely thrilled that I did. The first thing to adress is that this is a World Music built instrument and it shows through in the build quality and fit and finish. Wonderful fret edges,gorgeous finish job, etc... This feels like an exceptionally expensive instrument.
The stainless steel appointments on the frets and the Floyd are very welcome for a gigging instrument. The Apocalypse bridge pickup is simply monsterous. It's angry and defined like a super distortion that went to grad school. I play in a progressive death metal band and this is my main instrument for the project.

I have be playing guitar for 4 decades. I have owned countless guitars and built a fair share as well. To review this magnificent piece of sheer wonder all I can say is HOLY ****! This isn't just a guitar this is a weapon of mass destruction fellow axeman! Everything about this blood-red beauty is perfection in it's purist form. I feel like a young starving musician on a mission. As my fingers tremble typing this review all I can tell you is this axe is designed and built with perfection for the EPIC musician! I gave this a guitar a 4 star rating, all together the guitar is awesome its got really great sound for metal and the sustaniac is awesome, not to mention the guitars color is absolutely beautiful. The only downside to this guitar is that i recommend getting a rechargeable 9v battery cause the sustainiac does drain them really fast i have to take my battery out before i put it away or else i will have to replace the battery.

I was so excited to get this guitar in. However, the excitement went down a bit after a thorough inspection of it. Every string was about a half-step flat. The high b string already had the fine tuner all the way down, and the b is way out. So it definitely needs to be set back up.
There are little dents on the back of the neck. Not overly visible but you can feel it when you run your hand over it.I can feel where piece 4 and 5 were joined on the neck. There's a slight lip like someone rushed the sanding process.
The sustaniac is really fun to mess with, and the finish is absolutely gorgeous. The neck is nowhere near as wide as I expected for a 7 string, so that's awesome.
If it weren't for feeling like I got a scratch and dent for the price of a brand new instrument I would have given it 5 stars since tuning isn't a deal breaker. But for the back of the neck, I had to take points away. QC should have picked up on those issues before it ever left the factory.

The action of this guitar feels very smooth, I always look for playability in a guitar and this one Rocks, really high quality overall, neck pick up position let transients attack and the bridge position sounds compressed, the middle position is very in between so the neck position works nice with a high gain guitar amp for heavy stuff. The guitar is very light weight and I really like what they achieved with the fretboard even at the very high register it feels very comfortable. This is my first Schecter guitar and definitely recommend it, previous experiences are Gibson Les Paul, Yamaha and a few Fenders

This guitar is built with the intention of feeling that you already tricked out and upgraded your guitar from the first try! Components, woods and overall build are spot on perfect. Extremely resonant and light ,makes a touring guitar anyday. Love the matte finish on the floyd and love that has a poo in bar instead of a screw in! This is a must purchase.

This guitar is flawless. I've owned many guitars and this one is by far the best. The floyd rose is amazing. This guitar NEVER goes out of tune. I am serious. The workmanship on this guitar is on par with upper tier customs and I haven't found a single flaw. This is my third schecter and it blows my others away. The guitar came right out of the box set up perfectly. Highly recommended!

My first 7 string and I’m very pleased the apocalypse pickup sounds great,instrument plays well,a little string buzz on the low b string when I got it but after tuning it a couple times it’s went away very pleased high quality guitar

If you could go above 5 stars, I would! This thing is fantastic for the money! I use the Floyd Rose constantly and it always stays in tune! It also has glow in the dark fret markers on the side of the neck, which comes in handy playing live!
The Sustaniac will hold a note until the battery runs out! Well worth the money!

I cannot describe how happy I am with this guitar. I bought my first one over 40 years ago. And about a hundred since. But, this is the first time I ever felt like I have a guitar that is beyond perfect for me. First of all, the fit and finish on mine are stunning with flawless work on everything. It is just beautiful. Second, the comfort level and playability is almost scary good. Those stainless steel frets are a dream to squeeze and bend strings against. I have never felt anything like it. And that FR tremolo is exactly what a FR should have been for all those decades they have been around. And lastly, I cannot convey the sonic impressions of the Sustainiac. I told Schecter that it is like the people that made that thing are wizards, and they found a way to connect to the spirits of sound. Add all of that to the Roar of the Gods the bridge pickup makes...You get a guitar that is beyond perfect. Thank you AMS! Best price, best options, best service, best everything!

The first model I received had some fit and finish blemishes, which is highly unusual for schecter, so I subtracted a star for that. Otherwise this is a beast. Apocalypse pickup has a lot of bite and the Sustainiac pickup really opens the door to creative leads. A no brained for metal and heavy rock.

I have never experienced anything like this guitar, the sustaniac pickup is the wildest thing I've ever experienced. GAIN.... FOR.... DAYS! I've never heard anything like it. So much power the guitar itself actually begins to hum. POSSESSED!! I'm a metal head, and this guitar is as metal as it gets, well done, schecter! Well done indeed!
