This guitar was my boyfriend's dream guitar and he just finished 90 day rehab, I went and got it as a surprise for completing rehab and being sober. He had no idea, was so much nicer in person. He hasn't put it down since he opened it. The price point hurts, but in the end it's so worth it.

I Love this guitar! The finish is beautiful. The binding is super cool. The neck is probably my favorite part. Its got a very smooth neck. As for sound, its a Schecter so of course it sounds amazing!

This is my first 7 string and first schecter. I am very impressed. I am normally a Ltd guy for my 6 strings because I like the rounder, beefier necks but I like the slimmer profile on this neck. It makes it easier for chords and riffing on the lower part of the neck and I gotta admit playing lead on the higher part of the neck is taking some getting used to but it's coming along. The pickups are very responsive and everything I expect out of normal set of emg 8185s. The binding on this guitar is a work of art. The tuning stability is tight. I'm overall very impressed with what I have hear. Only thing I've noticed is there is vibration behind the nut but its nothing a fret wrap can't take care of. Makes for a great first 7 string and isn't intimidating at all.

Guitar arrived in perfect condition. Fit and finish is slick. The neck feels so good for fretting and grabbing the A/B for pinch notes. The EMG’s are violent but controlled, squeal factory for sure. If you think a 7-String is confusing or “too much”, Think again! It opens up endless new tones and concepts. 10/10

My schecter damien platinum 7 is by far my favorite guitar i have ever owned.love the evil lows that it makes and is remarkably easy to play.i would definitely recommend this for any metalhead

This guitar is a perfect example of what makes Schecter guitars so great to me, a quality guitar with quality components and a good price. This is my fourth schecter and everyone of them is solid. This Damien is my first 7 string. The fretboard is a little wider as you’d expect, but with the leaner neck you don’t notice as much as I’d expect led to. The guitar is super well built. The binding is beautiful. The frets are smooth and level. I think the emg’s sounds great. I highly recommend this guitar. I think you’d have to spend well over $1000 on other brands to get equal quality.

After reading some of the bad reviews, I gotta say.. I was honestly worried. However, my gear showed up right on time and in perfect condition. I will definitely use American Musical Supply in the future. Oh and my guitar is amazing. Best guitar I’ve had.

I have had it for one month but the over all feel is pretty comfy. The Matte finish looks pretty sweet but is not too flashy, and the bat inlays are a very nice touch. It is my first seven string so I can't really comment on playability cause there is a little more fret board to cover and the new string I have to learn how to play with is well.. THICK haha. It has the beefy tone I wanted, the emg's and the metal up your a$$ look. So for 600 bucks, ya can't complain.
I have only had for one month but so far the quality seems perfect. Appearance had no flaws, stays in tune and came set up to play. I play rock/metal so it fits right in as far as genres go, 7 strings, emg's, matte black.. C'mon now.
The pickups are hot, they definitely sound a little muddier than my 81, 85's on my hellraiser and the clean tones don't sound as good, which still sounds very good just not as..
Paint job is flawless, bat inlays are awesome. No complaints here.
600 bucks is pretty fair compared to what else is out there but it is my first 7 stringer so I can't exactly say. All I know is I am very happy overall with the guitar and like I tell my wife, it's not 600 dollars, it's 3 easy payments of 200 LOL.
It was set up ready to play, strings were just right for me and stays in tune pretty well.
