Best guitar I've ever owned, and I've had about 30 guitars...sustainiac works great! Even without, it resonates really well...great sound, punchy, heavy lows to chiming highs. Vibrato excellent and bends....the neck takes getting used to if you're used to thinner necks. I also have thick strings on, now, to increase heavy, low end, sound...definitely buy...don't hesitate, worth every penny!

Very playable fingerboard great action, well built ( I did get mine with one small finish blemish back of neck) not concerned about it. Quality parts & construction. Have vintage strat, Ibanez, gibson L6, hagstrom, kramer none of them play as well as this one. excels in metal-crunch sounds...

When my guitar came in I Was super stoked. The sustainiac pickup was awesome. The playability was smooth as could be. Only problem was the FR bridge wasn’t applied properly but I took it to my local guitar shop and they fixed the issue speedily and for a fair price. Shout out Brent’s music shop. Love AMS couldn’t build my guitar arsenal without you guys thanks again

This thing is heavy. Has a real heavy metal sound. I love the sustainiac system with the Floyd rose. I can really pound the whammy bar and it stays in tune. I am the owner of a gibson SJ and the Hellraiser plays almost as smooth as the SG. This is an awesome guitar...

This is my first Schecter and this thing is a beast!!! Out of the box, all it needed was a quick tune and it was good to go. Fret work is almost perfect, action set just right, the Floyd is solid and comes strung with Ernie Ball. The sustaniac is fun to mess around with. Still trying to figure out how to incorporate it in my playing. Feels and plays like a MUCH more expensive guitar. The tones you can get out of it are all solid and very versatile. My only (minor) gripe is the finish on the back of the neck. While this is all personal taste, I find my hands not sliding as smoothly as I'm used to. But it's easy to adjust to. Overall, this is a killer guitar and is well worth the money!

This guitar just screams quality. It feels wonderful in my hands and sounds amazing.
I had previously bought a guitar that was fairly close in price to this one from one of the more well known brands (name sounds similar to gypsum), and as soon as it arrived I just started noticing little things about it that weren't very good quality (crooked knobs, toggle switch twisted, etc). I suffered buyers remorse almost immediately, so I sent it back and went for this guitar. Glad I did, it's a work of art!

I have made 4 purchases and one return this year from American Musical. They're
Service and knowledge has been nothing short of perfect! I chose the Hellraiser over the American Fender Elite. The Schecter is just a better playing guitar and that Sustainiac is a blast. Plus the EMG gives me the tones I prefer! If your on the fence. My advice is. Jump on it! It's a high quality Axe with a lot of bang for your buck! Hope this was helpful! Enjoy!

The fit, finish, and setup of this guitar are all top notch right out of the box! Once the strings settled in, I locked the nut and been rockin ever since! Always loved my Strat, and my Warlock, but I fear they'll be gettin a bit lonely for awhile!

I love the guitar, it's my first time playing with the sustaniac set up but I am loving it. Guitar came ready to play and without any flaws, just had to tune it up. The black cherry finish looks a lot better in person, guitar is a little heavy compared to what I am used to but nothing to complain about. Definitely will not be my last shecter.

This guitar is great for the cost point. It plays and feels like a higher end guitar. The tones you can achieve are endless with the pickup configuration. I would buy again and recommend to a person seeking to change things up and explore new tones.
This is built like a high end instrument.
This plays and feels like a dream. The neck is real fast and unfinished to prevent that drag.
The tones are endless
The finish is beautiful and stacks up to my higher end guitars.
For the price the value is great.
Plays like butter.
