The guitar is definitely one of my favorites. Have been using to play songs by Crowbar and Black Sabbath. Any rock or metal song sounds great on this guitar. Hell of a nice look to the guitar and comfortable to play.

Aesthetically pleasing, to say the least. Looks a LOT nicer in person than on the webpage. Flame thru-trans black with carbon fiber binding is just gorgeous. Build quality is that of a much more expensive instrument. No issues with any of the controls, tuners, the sustainer, or the Floyd Rose. I'm a Steve Hackett fan (Genesis, GTR) and he's used a sustainer/trem to create some really awesome sounds throughout his career and I'm finally able to recreate some of those sounds I've been chasing for years. With three different sustainer settings, and a pot to control the drive, there are just so many sounds/tones. My only issues were a nicked string, that I had to change right away, and a slight truss rod tweak as the action was slightly higher than I like.
A lot of guitar for a little money. And a lot of fun to boot! I would purchase again.

This is my 3rd Schecter guitar. This is my first instrument with a Floyd Rose and a Sustainiac...both needed for one of the cover bands I'm working with.
First, the fit and finish on this instrument is exceptional. I've bought US made instruments for three times the cost that weren't as good. The fret work is exceptional, as was the set up. I only needed to lower the strings 1/64" and it was good to go.
Depending on the venue, I'm working with little to no stage volume. Having the Sustainiac really opens my musical vocabulary back up.
The Floyd Rose on this instrument (they call it a 1500) is much smoother and returns to pitch way better than the 1000's I see on a lot of other Korean instruments.
I wasn't sure how I would like the active EMG pickup in the bridge (I've always been a passive AlNiCo guy), but the tone is not overly "metal" as I had feared, but does sound similar to a hot PAF with a slight mid dip.
A killer guitar destined to be my #1.
