Product Rating Product Review Despite its metal appearance, this axe is capable of a broad pallet. Thanks to it's neck-thru and bridge design, this things has authentic tone like you'd expect from a PRS or Les Paul but in a more ubiquitous 25.5" scale length that most of us are more used to. I think Schecter should use the base specs and apply it to different model bodies to appeal to a broader audience. Keith Merrow delivered perfection with this one. Not sure how he's going to come up with a MK-IV?

Product Review It's a modern metal machine, plain and simple. I'm sure it is suitable for other genres with the right amp-pickup combination. Very comfortable to play and the blue crimson finish is beautiful. The back of the body is visually stunning. It does require a little tweaking to find the right sound. The signature Fishman pickups have a very unique sound, different from the normal Fluence Modern pickups. All in all it's a well rounded instrument. Great job with this one Schecter!!!

Product Review I've been a schecter owner and player for many years. This is hands down the best playing, out of the box, guitar I have ever owned and played. The action and playability is very quick and responsive. The tones are absolutely gorgeous for any genre. Highly recommend this beautiful axe.

Product Review Keith Merrow has a distinct style and his signature model guitar embodies that for sure. Keeping this in mind, I did have to spend some time with my amp to refine the sound for what I was looking for. The construction of the guitar is very good; The price reflects the many extras that you just don't find on most other guitars in this category. I purchased a blemish version and it isn't even noticeable (small mark on back of neck), so don't be afraid to give those minor blemish options a shot. I think the one improvement that everyone should try is to set up the guitar for your needs when you get it and allow a day or two for it to settle (neck adjustments, etc). I don't think the 10-46 strings it comes with are adequate for the tuning it is in from the factory. Maybe if you're playing in E or even D standard, it would be fine, but drop C or lower will require a change. There are quite a few videos available to illustrate how the guitar sounds, so I would recommend checking those out.

Product Review I Just returned this guitar because the pickups might be the worst sounding pickups I’ve ever played though could not get a decent tone from them other then cleans ,riffing was not that bad and passable for the most part still sounds kinda flubby and muddy at points and soloing sounds very tinny ,like a wah wah pedal is activated and pushed halfway down no matter the amp and eq settings I tried everything because I wanted to love this guitar because of the way it played , I have another guitar that has Fishman Fluence installed in it and they are amazing but I think Keith and Fishman dropped the ball on these it’s a shame too because on the other hand playability on the guitar itself is as good as it gets and the short time I had it before deciding to return it .the only reason I ever put it down was the sound was just plain bad ... no Bueno fellas

Product Review I recently picked up this km3 6 string from AM and I tell you what.. this guitar shreds like no other I've played before! I wasn't sure about the fluence pickups but they are just superior compared to other fluence I've played . A friend recommended this guitar and I thought what heck I'm going for it . Keith merrow put in the work to make everything jive and came out with a metal winner! I love the looks and the back of this is almost better than the front . You wont be disappointed if looking for a awesome metal guitar. My buddy has the km3 7 string and he feels the same... radical and comfy to play with an easy neck for shredding! Thanks AM !!!!
